Feel like I should point out that I don't view Katniss as a hero. She's not a hero, she's a scared 17 year old kid who is not allowed any real control over her life. Not just Snow, but the "good guys" Haymitch, Finnick, Cinna, the head game maker (one my phone, can't google easily to get the spelling) they control her. She doesn't ever actually get a choice, they all decided and planned out what she was going to be.

I'm not saying that I like Katniss because she's a hero or whatever. She's not. She's also got a lot of flaws. I don't like her despite her flaws, I like her for her flaws because she's actually realistic. Most people in her situation

Ok I give up with this stupid iPhone. Seriously, who on earth destined this piece of rubbish, it's useless. Will come back to this post when on my computer. It probably doesn't make sense bit I've put so much effort into it thanks to this useless thing that going to post it. Will rewrite it tomorrow evening, but not at midnight like now.

Yeah, and also in Catching Fire when they're in District 11 and Katniss was talking about Rue. It was very moving too.

I'm not that much into the love triangle too... Or at least I do not perceive it as the most important thing in the books.

As for Peeta vs Gale (just as characters, not 'who should Katniss choose' blah blah), after I read the books for the first time I got to like Gale more. Well, nothing has changed since. ;] (it doesn't mean I don't like Peeta at all though)

^^ Me too. I liked Gale, but unlike you, I don't like Peeta at all. He's a nice person, and a good friend, but somehow I just don't like him.

I think movie Peeta is even more boring than book Peeta, I don't know why. But I saw the first movie first, and after that I read all of the books.
