I love to read. I'm reading two books at once right now...Return of the King and The Last Jihad by JOel C. Rosenberg. for some reason, I can't really make the effort to read much of either. oh well, when i get a library card, I plan on looking for some STar Wars and STar Trek books.

Yeah, mys sitster loves to rad also. She can read a 500 page book in 1 day and STILL remember pretty much everything that went on. It's nuts...
I can read 100-170 pages at a time, only I generally only take the time to read like 1 or 2 a week... so I just don't get very far very fast. lol

Definitely I am just hopping that they make it accurate with the rest.
I have heard some talk that it might not be "up to standards" but I am hoping that is wrong.

I haven't seen the tv versions or whatever...aside from the films, I know nearly NOTHING about Expanded Universe or beyond the films....besides what I read.

Yeah, same here mostly. I have watched some of the 1 hour episodes of the clone wars. (they were pretty cool in my opinion)
Other than that and hearing things from other people and the few books I have read.. my knowledge on the expanded universe is sourly lacking.

I think my problem is mainly money; you know? like, I don't want to buy something I'm nto sure I'll like, and my parents don't like star Wars or Star Trek anyway so they wouldn't let me get books....

yeah, that makes sense.
That's so sad. How could someone not like star wars. (I have to admit I am not a huge star treck fan... but starwars.... *sighs* )

all the spiritual stuff. They were even hesitant to let me see them, but they figured I was old enough not to be influenced by the spiritual sides. Star Trek I love. The movies, I'm not so big on them; but the series are awesome.

Mind if I jump right in your chat? I am sort of become curious whenever Star Wars is mentioned. I wanna see the clone wars though I am not looking forward to it as eagerly as you guys are.
