Hey Captain Faramir. *waves*
I am actually looking forward to the clone wars mostly because I want to see it and find out that they DID do a good job on it.
But at the same time I am kind of dreding it because I wonder "What if they DIDN'T do a good job..."
But I totally agree, animated starwars isn't quite the same as the real movies. But it does add to the whole starwars story so I want to see it for that aspect.

Heya Jax *waves back*
Yeah you might have a good reason for avoiding to see SW clone wars, Petra.
Jax, you got me wondering as well as doubting about this animated movie. hope they make it okay. I hate to see a movie about SW that spoiled the magical atmosphere of SW and Siths being killed once again by lousy Jedis

lol Yeah, there has been some speculation about it's quality... partly I think because it is animated.
However, I am hoping since george lucas himself is involved in making it that he will hold it up to the same standards as the other movies.
(the light side always wins. Although the Jedi deaths in episode 3 were pathetic... they could have at least fought back like.. I dunno... JEDI! lol anyways.... )

I'm a little unsure about whether or not I'm gonna want to watch the Animated SW...it looks kind of...strange. I'll probably watch it anyway, though. ^_^

I may see it in theaters simply because of the fact I've never seen a Star Wars movie in theaters.

Really? Not even RotS? I've seen TPM and RotS in theaters. I didn't have a chance to go see AotC in theaters, though I'm glad I didn't waste my money on it. ^_^

no, I've seen none of them in theaters. I wanted to see ROTS but my parents didn't think I was old enough to handle and discern the spiritual falsities of STar Wars. In fact, I didnt' see any of them until about a year and half ago.

Lol, I would never have guessed by your username, Nissya.
Wow, that stinks, Petra. My parents deemed me ready years ago, but that was when I started reading the books.

Well, the speculation I've heard on this point basically all agree that the Jedi weren't expecting the clones to kill them for two reasons. One, the clones were supposed to be obedient to them (and the Chancellor) and they didn't expect a betrayal. And two, the clones didn't have any malice that would have hinted at them being about to shoot the Jedi in the back.
Its been a while since I've been here.

has anybody been watching the Clone Wars tv series? I have and they're not bad! The humor in them seems a little more natural than the films and the Anakin in the animated series is MUCH better than the Anakin in the films, the reason being because Hayden ISN'T playing him. the Obi-Wan sounds almost spot-on like Ewan. and, who knew Battle droids had such a sense of humor???

Hm.... verry good points. I had never thought of it that way. And yes, I can understand how that would hav ebeen true.
But still would have been nice to see them able to put upa good fight.
Ihave been watching some of the animated episodes Petra. They are not to bad. There is a little inconsistancy in them I think, but I guess thats unavoidable.
The main problem I have with them is the fact that Anakin had a padawan but then she isn't there in episode 3..... *shrugs* whats up with that. so yeah
