I'm ten years too late to the Rush Club, but I've been a Rush fan ever since I heard 'Working Man' on the radio in early 1974. a local DJ scored a Moon Records release of 'Rush' on a trip to Canada and brought it back to Seattle and gave it heavy airplay. I liked all the albums up to Moving Pictures, and accepted Signals. They kind of lost me with Grace Under Pressure which was the last time I saw them live (I still have a glow in the dark painter's cap I bought at that concert). Didn't really follow them after 1984, but I have heard they have put out some respectable songs since then. I guess that makes me a 'Terry Brown era' fan.
Some favourite songs of mine are...
Working Man
By Tor & the Snowdog
Bastille Day
2112
Something For Nothing
Cygnus X1
The Trees
Jacob's Ladder
Tom Sawyer
Red Barchetta
Subdivisions
Analog Kid
And their live album 'All The World's A Stage' is absolutely awesome!
