I only managed to get to episode 4 before I had to stop. I just can't tell if I like it or not. Naruto is one of the most annoying characters in the history of everything.

I'm not the hugest fan of Naruto. I tried watching it years back and I stopped at episode 12 because I could have no more interest in. I just couldn't. The only character I liked was Iruka, and he was not in it nearly enough.
I try to respect other's liking for it, especially with my friends at school but I just don't see it quite honestly.

Really, I like Naruto (if only for a certain awesome character...), but I don't see any near end to it, and the plot isn't amazing or anything, so...I watch it sometimes, but I think there are better animes to spend my time on. ^^

XD
I was beginning to think I was the only Anime lover that didn't get Naruto at all. -phew-
If it wasn't for Naruto himself, I could probably enjoy it. But..with him being the focal point of the entire show, it's a no go for me.

Quite frankly, the only anime that has captured my attention, held my attention, and made me absolutely fall in love with it is FullMetal Alchemist.
It has the essence of a fabulous PLOT.

I tried FMA too and just couldn't get into it at all.

Aww, I'm sorry it wasn't for you. It's my #1 favorite anime, the plot gets better and better every episode
How far did you get in it, Phoenix?

It might sound bad, but it was only the first episode. I had heard so many good things I wanted to check it out. But I just felt so let down.
I had the same reaction to Rurouni Kenshin too.

^ I couldn't get into Rurouni Kenshin either, but FMA's been my all-time favorite anime for a while now.
Funny though, just the first episode totally got me hooked on it. I guess people just differ like that. ^^

Try to get into it again---the plot expands over all the episodes until the very last. Which is how it they develop such a good plot. It doesn't become repetitive.

I might do. What with all my other shows coming to an end due to the Writers Strike. I need some more Anime to tide me over.

I'm not a FMA fan either. It doesn't interest me. I did start watching Death Note. I've only seen a few episodes and so far I find it pretty interesting.

Death Note is brilliance.
I mentioned in another thread, if you like the psychological part of Death Note. Then check out Monster, I'm half way through the fan sub online and it's absolutely fantastic. If they can keep it this interesting till the end, it is gonna become one of my fave anime of all time.
