Here we go. For all fans of Power Metal.
So if you like bands like Lost Horizon, DragonForce, Hammerfall, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody ect..then this is the place for you.

Don't have a banner yet, but if anyone fances making one I'd appreciate it.

OK I took a stab at making a banner. lol you guys can probably make a better one, but I was bored so yeah. Feel free to make it the official banner of the club if you want, but if you don't like it that's ok too! haha. ok I'll just shut up now and post the banner... k here it is:

So how liberal are you going to be with the term Power Metal? For example, would it be ok if i talked about Symphony X (which is technically progressive metal) or Falconer (folk metal). I tend to group them all together even though they are technically a different sub-genre of metal.

In my opinion, bands and sub-genres closely related to Power Metal should be OK to talk about (because a lot of Power Metal bands aren't just Power Metal but also have elements of other metal sub-genres). But then again, I'm not the owner of the club haha. But I also feel there should be a certain limit to what bands can be discussed here, after all this is a club for a certain sub-genre only. There's also a Metal Society for all types of Metal genres where any kind of metal band can be discussed.
