Post subject:  The Adorable Christian Bale Fanclub
With Kit's blessing and encouragement, I decided to start a fanclub for a poor, underappreciated, but nevertheless ultra-adorable actor named Christian Bale. He's most famous for playing Batman/Bruce Wayne in the recent movie <i>Batman Begins</i>, but also starred in movies such as Little Women, Newsies, Equilibrium, American Psycho, Reign of Fire, and The New World (most of which I have sadly not seen :().

So, care to join?

Requirements:

- You must think Christian Bale is somewhat adorable
- OR you must think he's a good actor, enjoy one of his movies, etc.
- But thinking he's very adorable indeed is preferablest!

Founded a little past midnight, day after Valentine's Day, '06, by Arwen the webmaster.

He is, unfortunately, married :confuzzled: But it's sweet that he wears his wedding ring in photoshoots :)

I think it's amazing that in Little Women and Batman Begins (unfortunately the only movies I've seen him in so far), you'd never be able to tell he wasn't American! He's great with accents :)

I would love to join the club! I was just watching Newsies today. That's my favorite movie with him in it. I do like Batman Begins and Reign of Fire!!!!

Yeah, I love Little Women - can't you tell? :teehee: Although I don't think the actress they used to play teenage Amy looked much like little Kirsten Dunst.

So Newsies is a good CB movie to see? I'm interested in watching it, but I'm skeptical of Disney movies in general. But, if it has a teenage Christian Bale in it, I've got to at least try it...

Can anyone who's seen Equilibrium tell me if it's good?

O, and if anyone's wondering, in the film strip banner, the pictures of CB are (from left) from the movies Equilibrium, Captain Correlli's Mandolin, Batman Begins (duh), The New World, and Little Women.

Random thought - Mr. Bale isn't really as much a swoon-over guy to me as he is a guy who just never fails to make me grin. Such a cheerful face! :-D
