WELCOME TO THE LOST THEORY CLUB!
This club is for discussing the mysteries, theories and spoilers of LOST ('Tis a TV series).
It can be about Walt's 'super powers', 4 8 15 16 23, 42, eyes, black & white, spoilers, mistakes, goofs and anything of that sort.
It's not a fanclub, I repeat, it's not a fanclub! It's a club where you discuss theories and the sort.

I would like to join, as Lost is one for the best TV series i have seen. On this site is it mainly Americans, as I am English, you watch all of the shows before us. Ive seen up to episode 13 in season two. 'The Long Con'

I'm [s]English[/s] British (Welsh to be precise) as well! I just read all the episode plotlines, etc. And my Brother's girlfriend is getting a copy series 2 from her friend

Walt found the comic book which belonged to Hurley who was jinxed by the numbers.
Then I started to think inside the box but be very open minded and I realised this:
Walt's birthdate is 26/8/94 (or the 8/26/94 for Americans). 26 + 8 + 94 = 128. Take away the 20 and it's 108 which are the jinxed numbers added up. The remaining 20 is the age of when Shannon died.
I realised that this must of been a coincidence, then I realised something else:
W is the 23rd letter of the alphabet.
A, L & T are the 1st, 12th & 20th letters of the alphabet and 1 + 12 + 20 = 33. Take away the age of when Walt came to the island and it's 23
E & R are the 5th and 18th letters of the alphabet. 5 + 18 = 23.
23 (33 - 10 *Walt's age when he comes to the island* =) 23 & 23
23 is the 5th number of the jinxed number sequence. Another freaky coincidence?

Well, I think it is a coincedence, it just kinda sounds like you're fishing for answers that aren't there. Oh, and
OOOOOOH, I WANNA JOIN!!!!!
I not really a conspiracy theorist, but I love rewatching season 1 of Lost episodes, because stuuf that happens in the second season, if you pay real close attention, you can see how it alluded to it in the first season!!!

That theory... Its good, but i wouldnt thimk the writers would have gone into that much depth

Ok, another lecture about the numbers:
The place they were all on was called: Oceanic Flight: 815
The numbers are in the number sequence (4 8 15 16 23 42)
Also:
At the end of series 1 there were 42 survivors out of 48.
From the tail section oF the plane, I think there were 23 survivors first of all. At the beginning of series 2 there are 5 but I think 1 will die so there will be 4.
But then again - when Shannon died there were only 41 survivors except if Ethan Rom wans't counted as the orignal 48 survivors....

Woow Galas that is soo great! I also thought about it like that, it is very wonderful and it is so good. But I never wrote it on the forum, because I can't tell it good in English because I am Dutch, and that is very difficult for me. But I will try to write some as well... I really like your theory

I agree.
You give the writers too much credit, I doubt they're as smart as you.

The Others... * thinks* well, to me it is clear that they have something to do with the numbers, and the button in the hatch. But I haven't tought about how they are related. And why are they kidnapping all the children?

They took the Rousseau's child, im guessing that was Ethan. They Other may not be related to the hatch, as i do not think they know anything about it
