This is a club for everyone who loves the Lord of Gondolin, is angry with Arwen for stealing his role and horse! ;) (jk) , or just loves the blonde beauty this is the place to be.

W00t, I'm so joining! Glorfindel claims my favorite chapter in the entire FotR! :D

And yes...it shouldn't be Arwen in the movie..grr..:annoyed:

Eh, we all have our opinions. I didn't mind the switching with Arwen, it helped introduce her character more so that she had a bigger role in the trilogy. Glorfindel was in two chapters....tops --- he doesn't play that big of a significant role in the series.

Of course there have been arguments about whether or not Glorfindel of Rivendell is the same Glorfindel of Gondolin.

About what Kit said, it was necessary, I agree. It would've been too weird for Arwen to just pop up in Rivendell. She wouldn't have had a big enough role.

But to imagine how it would look with Glorfindel...I think it would be awesome. :)
