He beat out 180,000 other applicants to win the title role in Eragon (2006), a big-screen version of a popular novel by author Christopher Paolini.

Has enjoyed participating in school plays since the age of three. Notably, in his secondary school years, he played the lead roles in his school's productions of 'Richard III' and 'Hamlet'.

Is an only child. His parents are divorced and his mother now resides in Spain. His father, John, is a financial consultant in London.

He attends at Eastbourne College, a private boarding school located in East Sussex. He will finish school in June 2006 after completing his A-Levels.

*joins gladly* Hey, he's hot, he's Eragon...what's not to like?

However (this is not a complaint...he's better than I imagined)) but did anyone imagine Eragon with black hair *laughs* Then again, I thought Cedric Diggory was supposed to be really ...and he has brown hair.

well, actually, it was from when I read the books. lol. *shrugs, laughing* I always just disregard hair color for some odd reason. It said , and I decided, well he has black hair NOW! lol.

*still drooling over Edward* He is very nice to look at....

If you can find me a good pic of him I can make a club banner. Don't worry, people will be streaming in here after Eragon starts in theatres *smiles* He must be good...Chris Paolini wouldn't let them pick someone bad! And, he DID beat out, what, 180,000 boys?

It's like Harry Potter. No one knew if they would pick crappy actors, but did they? NO! And...Narnia. Antoehr book movie, *hasn't read book, so it starting to make up as goes along* same there!

*laughing* It really is another Cedric-like incident. I argued with my friend about his hair color for about a month. lol.
