I think PJ should have done more of Faramir and Eowyn, I think he was too interested Arwen and Aragron then Faramir and Eowyn. What do you guys think?

I do agree with you that he should have done a little more on Faramir and Eowyn, but I dont think it was because he was more interested in Arwen and Aragorn. They are the more important characters in the book, so he wrote more about them. Thats at least what I think

I agree with Hobbit_fan. I don't think that PJ was too interested in Arwen and Aragorn. :-

I agree with you WW....personally I think there was way too much Arwen and Aragon but of course they are main charries so....you kid of have to have them alot in the movies but I DO wish Eowyn and Faramir were in the movie more.

There are an awful lot of threads like this...Shall I say it again?
Eowyn and Faramir have about a quarter of a chapter detailing how they fall in love. As much as I love it, I'm glad PJ didn't put more of Eowyn and Faramir than he did. It leaves more to my own imagination. Arwen, although not a large part in the book, does influence a lot of what Aragorn does. I do not regret that she has such a large role in the movies.

'Cept Arwen is rarely mentioned in the book.
He should have done more on Eowyn and Faramir... Totally. I almost had a heart attack when there was barely and Houses of Healing stuff in the EEs... Seriously I was so mad.

If you haven't finished the book and you want to find more about Aragorn and Arwen, you could do what I did: forget waiting--just skip to the appendices.

The appendices are the best part of Tolkien's books!

I agree with ya WW! he should have done more with them, but in the EE he does give them an extra scene and extra stuff in the Houses of Healing. But F&E are my fav. couple and I would have liked to see more of them.

I agree Arwen was a little overused. And I guess I love the books so much that I wanted the movies to be done exactly right, so I would have liked a little more Faramir and Eowyn, but not necessarily the whole chapter from the book. Maybe just a small scene in the Houses of Healing would have been nice...

They did actually have a small bit of the Houses of Healing in the EE, though.

I would have liked for him to have included the whole chapter from RotK but no more than that. I don't like speculations.
