Which do you like better? I know it's a difficult question, but I wanted to see what you guys think, cause why not, right?  I can't think deeply at 10 o click at night. I will decide tomorrow.  _________________

Nothing against the southern Dunedain, but I chose the Roharrim. A bit more rustic and unrefined without the Numenorean blood, they seem to be a bit less full of themselves. That and it was the Northmen that came and bailed Gondor out in a time of need.

I had to go for Gondor, But that is a really hard decision. Thankfully it wouldn't happen. I don't know what I would do, I have favorites on both sides.

I chose Rohan. The charge of the Rohirrim at the Battle of Pelannor Fields is very inspiring, and I come from a long line of Prussian cavalry officers.

After much debate I decided on Gondor. I like the rich history behind Gondor with Numenor and the white tree and everything. Rohan just kind of decided to show up halfway through the 3rd age and be awesome. I also just love Faramir. He's amazing and humble and beautiful and sensitive and smart and awesome. I love him! I like Rohan too though. I admire their willingness to work and the simplicity of their lives. It's so much less complicated than Gondor. That's also the reason I like hobbits better than elves. _________________

That is an extremely hard choice.... If Gondor (in the movies) had more of the Dunedain left like it was back in the Silmarilion times definitely Gondor.
However, I love the "Horse Lords" and lean more towards the culture and lifestyle of Rohirim and their horses. I must also agree with Evil Shieldmaiden.... the charge at Pelanor fields is epic and awe inspiring.
For this reason, based on the mindset of the movies and time frame I picked Rohan. Tough call, though...

Once about 16 years ago, before the accursed PJ fanfic, several people on The One Ring.com held an RP in-character tournament. There was horse riding, jousting, meelee, archery, both standing and riding, stealth, oration, and battle strategy and tactics test. The finalists came down to Gondor and Rohan, and it was so close there was a sudden death round of all events. It remained tied until the riding archery, where fittingly, Rohan won with a target hit that was slightly closer than the Gondor shot. It was a fun event. I went looking for it on the site, but it was lost when the site crashed. Couldn't find it on the 'Wayback Machine either.

That sounds like so much fun! That would have been awesome to have been on for. Wish we could have done something like that here on AU back when we had a wider member base that posted regularly.
