^^ No, and I'm very happy they don't. All the Arwen/Aragorn unecessary kissing made me sick. I think the way PJ did everything with them in the movie was good; but he should have put in them walking in the gardens. He would have made 1 book fan a whole lot happier.

Oh YES!!! FINALLY a person who thinks the same as me!! *gives a huge bear hug* Go you!! I hate watching kissing ... ick. Of course, it was fine between Aragorn and Arwen - it would have been lame if they didn't, but I am SO happy that E + F don't!! Woohoo!!

Ohhhhhhhhh-kay... calm down. I hope you mean Liv Tyler, not Arwen, 'cuz Arwen's awesome!
I'm glad they don't have them kissing also. I'd be fine w. it but, really, the time frame of the movie...it would seem so wrong if Faramir and Eowyn were kissing within, like, six hours of knowing each other. It's really good in the books though...

Liv Tyler was responsible for making Orlando get a mohawk. Eowyn was awesome in the films; I hardly remember her in the books. All the females, in fact. Galadriel is the only female that stood out to me in the books.

Eowyn and Arwen. I barely remember them in the books. Honestly, I barely remember Galadriel, but I actually remember her part. (due in part to the fact I havent' read the books in a long time.)

I liked her in the movie better, just because in the book the only reason she liked Aragorn was so she could be a great queen. She wanted to be significant in history, and do things worthwhile. I think PJ pulled that longing off very well. Miranda Otto was perfectly cast, too.

Personaly I liked Eowyn better in the books. It had nothing to do with Miranda'a portryal of her though. (Miranda did a Great job.) The reason why I prefered her in the book was mainly because I feel that she was better explained in the book. However of course she would be because there was more stuff. I think that they sort of under played her desire for battle a bit. I think that they really should have had the scene where she begged Aragorn to take her with him to the paths of the Dead to assist with that. That is just my opinion though.
