It's very hard to decide that, but I disliked the chapters of Frodo a bit. It is very irritating that you can't tell Frodo that Gollum is evil, and Sam sees it but Frodo doesn't believe him...
But for the rest I really love everyting!!!

I like the Frodo parts in the book, but the ones in the movies really get boring after a while..................

I didn't hate any chapter, I loved them all!! But after finishing it, after the Grey Havens chapter, I just felt sad for awhile. It just left this empty feeling in my heart, and I just felt so melancholy for awhile. So sad... *tear*

Well, I wont say I dislike a chapter, but I get really angry whenever Denethor says bad things to Faramir. "Go away and kill yourself" Oooh! I can't stand that guy!

He is indeed horrible but I think this is because he lookd what Suron showed him in the palantir. Maybe he was not like this before.

No, I don't believe he was always like he was in RotK. I think that there was a string of incidents that lead up to it, although that still does not completely excuse him from what he did.

Of course it does not. I imagine him as the kind of guy that when his wife died and had to raise his two boys alone (ok he was a steward and had a lot of people to help him but I mean without a mother) made him somehow strabge maybe more suspicious and thing like this.

Yes, and I think that he loved his wife a lot and missed her sorely, too. And the death of his favorite son had something to do with his last (and bigest) bought of craziness, if you know what I mean.

Do you think if he didn't have the palantir he still would have liked Boromir better?

I don't like the chapters with Shelob in them. Urgh, I get scared ver easily. The other chapter I "don't like" is the Grey Havens. I hate it when good books end and if LotR isn't a good book then I don't know any at all!!
