There's no greater couple than Éowyn and Faramir! I love them! :) Not just because Éowyn is my favourite character, they just fit perfectly well to each other!

yea I love that Passage in the RoTK..with Faramir and Eowyn! and the Chapter "The Captain and the White Lady" In RoTK extended is really nice too. I also loved the Hourses of Healing, in the movie, when Faramir & Eowyn see each other for the 1st time. Eowyn and Faramir are totally my favorite ppl on LOTR

maybe she is a little bit more adventureous than him,and more proud and honorable, not that he is not ofcourse, but I always imagine her as a strong, free woman who is" infront of her time" ,and I never can imagine her as a wife and mother, only as a warrior, but still-they make a beautiful couple and they deserve each other :)

They were my favorite characters before I read the Return of the King. It's EXTREMELY convenient that they happen to fall in love in "The Steward and the King!" I watched the Return of the King theatrical before I read it and saw Eowyn and Faramir glance lovingly at each other at Aragorn's coronation and was like "What?!?!" After I finished reading it I was like "THERE BETTER BE MORE IN THE EXTENDED EDITION." I'm SOOOOO glad there was! :-D

It's terrible, but if everyone here loves Eowyn and Faramir, I will not be ashamed. (It's an Eowyn/Faramir fan video I made)

I think that Eowyn and Faramir are perfect together.
A lot of people think that Aragorn/Eowyn is a good match, but I completely disagree. Tolkien knew exactly what he was doing when he was writing LOTR. Aragorn and Arwen were made to be together, not Aragorn and Eowyn. I did feel really bad for Eowyn, because I've been in her position before, wanting a guy who was taken. It's pretty miserable. But then in the end when she found Faramir, I was really happy for her and I thought that there was no better way for her story to have ended. They suit one another exactly. I did love reading about it in the houses of healing. It was a beautiful love stories. I'm kind of a sucker for good love stories.
Princess of Ithilien, I can't watch your video now, because I can't do anything with sound on the computer, but I look forward to coming back and viewing it later!

Awww. Princess of Ithilien, I thought your video was very sweet! It wasn't bad at all! Their love story is a beautiful one, so it's a good thing to make a video out of. I liked the song too.
It was nice. Thanks for posting it!

Faramir and Eowyn are the perfect couple. How they come together in the book is so sweet.

*wishes she could watch Princess of Ithilien's movie*What did you put in it, PoI??
I still think Aragorn would be wonderful for Eowyn, but how cruel would it be to Arwen! Yes, I agree that Tolkien did the best thing with the characters. *wishes she could watch the EE of RotK* What happen between Faramir and Eowyn in the EE?? I've read the books, but I want to know what happened in the movie...

Beautiful video, Princess of Ithilien, I love the way you put it together, and the song fit the scenes, too.

Faramir and Eowyn are the perfect couple. Both have had to live with so much hurt and both were the first to find their loved one dead or dying and having to go through that... there's a billion other reasons why I think they're perfect together too...

But alas, no time to post them : )

Oh...it's each of them happy w.out knowing each other w/ Theoden & Aragorn, Boromir & Denethor. Then they lose them. Then they meet. And everythings all right. That's what facinates me about those characters falling in love...They've both lost all they love, but everythings...okay.

In the EE, there's a scene where they see each other in the Houses of Healing. There's another when there watching the East and Faramir holds Eowyn's hand. It's too bad that you can't see the video--NOT BECAUSE OF MY EGO FOR HOW GOOD IT IS :-D , but because I have chunks of clips from those scenes...

It was a very nice video Princess of Ithilien. I thought it really showed the beautiful love between those two characters well. Even though I haven't seene the EE versions (:'(), I really enjoyed watching the video and could get a good sense of how that scene was in the movies from it. All in all, a beautiful way to show a beautiful love story. Well done.

the passages relating to eowyn and faramir's relationship are among my favourite pieces of writing ever - i often re-read those bits on their own cuz they're just so beautiful. it still seems weird to me that an aging oxford don could write so sensitively, but i guess old tollers was just a hopeless romantic at heart.

i love the way faramir understands eowyn even better than she understands herself, and i love it when faramir says "you are a lady beautiful, i deem, beyond even the words of the elven-tongue to tell. and i love you" - i want someone to say that to me. i want a faramir!
