Yes they definetely fit to each other... they are very similar to each other in a way and I can't think of anyone who could have understood Eowyn as well as Faramir.

I really like Eowyn and Faramir being together. I mean... it just kind of fits. Faramir helped Eowyn find who she really is, and what her destiny is. He loved her from the moment he saw her, and helped her see the beauty inside herself.

Their story is one of true love just as Arwen and Aragorn's is, which makes me love it all the more. :)

I think they're really good together - Faramir's a scholorly type, and Eowyn's a shieldmaiden, and they're just perfect together.

They can understand each other like no one else could. Both lost nearly all members of their family, both thought they would die to defend those they love, and so they both could heal each other.

I love the Faramir/Eowyn story at the end of the RotK. It's very sweet. I keep thinking that that's how romance should be--call me an idealist, I don't mind! I love the part when they kiss on the walltop and their hair is blowing in the wind...Tolkien was such a descriptive writer, because that's a very moving passage. *goes to reread it*

I agree with that. They are a perfect couple, one of my favorites too.

Yes I agree with Th'wayla becuz the book and the movie would not be the same if they hadn't fallen in love with each other becuz it would then seem sooo wrong to me for some reason. :)

I agree, they did connect more in the book than in the movie. I too would have liked a bit more connection or interaction between them in the movie, but I have to say that the hand holding was really sweet. I think if they were up there snogging on the screen it would have been too much.
