Ah, but I do like SW. Only the original three though. They knew they were sort of corny and capitalized on it, while the newer trilogy takes itself too seriously for my taste. But that's just me, and unfortunately (imo) I haven't found anyone who really shares my opinion yet, besides my family.

I just saw it yesterday.........ya I'm probably the last person on the face of the Earth to see it.........anyhoo.........it was so sad and dark.........and I was about to start screaming at Anakin........to stop bieng evil, because he evilness made him kill his own wife. Thats horrible.........luckily I was the only one in the theatre so it was okay if I started yelling at the screen. I was so mad that Padme died even though I knew it would happen. OMG I could go on forever talking about this.........poor Luke and Leia. I'm not really into SW but I think this one was the best.......so I actually paid attention to it. Gawd.........evil little git named Anakin......going around killing his own wife. Okay I admit he did ask about her and he was sad when he heard that he himself had killed her..........wow I can't believe I wrote this much. Overall I thought it was better than no. 1 and 2.......I don't think it was better than 4, 5, and 6.

I saw it on Sunday, and I really enjoyed it. However I definately enjoy the originals much better, but this one made me want to run home to watch them. I was talking to one of my friends about it and he said that the acting may not be the best (though I have to object in the name of Ewan McGregor ), the writing could be better because it can get quite corny at moments, but the storyline-the heart of it-is what makes it so popular. It is definately worth seeing though. I really want to see it again, maybe. Hee hee hee. I've always loved Star Wars, my first "experience" was when they re-released them for the 20th anniversary on the big screen, and my dad took me, so I've been hooked ever since. Anyways, may the force be with you all.

Arwen the webmaster wrote: *cough*didn't like it very much at all*cough* Never mind me...I just don't like the recent SW movies. I'm more of a fan of the original trilogy. I will say that Ewan did a great job as always, and Hayden improved from AotC. But...I don't want to spoil the thread and rant about it, so I'll stop there
I agree that the original series was WAAAAY better...but arent originals always better? Unless were talking about Oceans 11 ... cuz the original SUCKED...n e ways back to Star Wars...I still LOVED this one I didnt like the last two...at all sept maybe n e part with Anakin cuz i love his character, and he's hot! Ok. I've seen all the Star Wars movies, and I'm much more a fan of the originals than of the newer ones. But I was never actually into Star Wars that much at all. But I thought that they were good enough to have some interest in going to see Episode III. My brother is a HUGE Star Wars fan, so on Sunday I went with him to see Revenge of the Sith.
Well.
I never thought I'd be saying this, but I totally LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!! I mean, I really, really liked it. It was the best - Hayden totally redeemed himself (terrible acting in the second movie, I must say) and it was just so well done and emotional, and so sad...I came out of the theatre in a daze and went home and just sort of sat on the sofa...I was really very impressed, and I never would have believed that I would've liked it so much. But it really got me...I just really loved it! My brother is quite happy...he's got another convert. But I got him into LOTR, so he got me into this. This really changed my view of Star Wars and I've got the soundtrack now as well. Oh wait a minute, the track 'Anakin's Betrayal' just came on...it's so sad...even though I knew perfectly well what was going to happen, I was still like, 'Nooooo, don't do it!!!'
So if you haven't guessed already, *I* really liked it!! Hopefully I'll have a chance to get to the movies to see it again before it leaves theatres.
(wow...I'm really getting into this...it's kind of...strange...)
But I must say that it made me want to watch to originals again, which is what I did Monday.

Ha ha ha! I'm not that brave, but that's what I felt like! I saw it again on the Saturday before Father's Day, with my dad...hee hee hee. But when I first saw it, the part "You're either with me, or my enemy...", well, let's just say a HUGE smile crept across my face and I nearly burst out laughing thanks to my friend who looked at me right at that moment. But for you to understand that moment, you all might have to understand my...shall we say, political stance. Okay enough. Back to drooling over Ewan, and the movie. Hee hee hee. May the force be with you!
