Fweeeee another fan. I wasn't sure how many Indy fans there'd be on here.
The trailer is great, like you say gives nothing away. Just shows lots of great action sequences. Yeah, it is sort of..clean looking. Very shiny and new. I don't mind too much though.
I know it's due out in America on the 22nd of May. No idea on the UK release though.

I was brought up on Indiana Jones. I was watching them before I could even understand what they were all about.
Eh, if other films are to go by, at least a month after the US, although *hopefully* with it being such a big film, it may be out at the same time, or very shortly after. I think that happened with POTC: AWE.
I'm really going to miss Sallah though, and Marcus Brody... although he has a good excuse for being absent.
I'd like to think that apart from the fact that special effects are going to be better, it will be pretty much the same style of film. I don't think Spiedlberg is that much of an idiot to change too much, of what Indiana Jones had that everyone likes. I'm actually excited to see if thet still use the map, when Indy travels somwhere, and the plane moves long with a dotted line following it.

Ah, I've been waiting for this!! A complete win is RIGHT! I've also been raised on Indy stuff - and one of the best memories for me was getting to see Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular! at Disneyworld as a kid.
Wow, looks as action packed as ever. It also looks like Harrison Ford gets as much of the action as ever, which makes me happy.
And with Cate Blanchett ...THAT ought to be fun. She looks cool in a black wig.

Ahhhh I can't believe we're finally getting another Indy film
I was totally raised on Indiana Jones as a kid. LOVE the look of the movie from the trailer, I bet it's going to be made of absolute total WIN!

AHHHHHHH!!!!
How did I know teh Oh-Wise-Phoenix would eventually start a thread on this? So like you!
OH! I'm SOOO excited! Thanks for the link to the trailer. I'd seen a picture of Shia and Harrison Ford a couple weeks ago. It looks really exciting! HURRAY! And I didn't know CATE was gonna be in it! Oh my god! That just makes it SOO much better! Cate is LOOVE.
I, too, grew up on Indiana Jones. My cousins always made fun of me because I was such a big fan.
AHHH! That trailer was a wonderful tease!

I watched the preview today. I've been going back to the site over and over waiting for the preview to show up. Looks awesome!
And Cate Blanchett too!
This is definently one I'll be seeing in theaters.

I guess I underestimated the Indy love on here. I'm rather pleased too
It is a shame that there'll be no Sallah or Marcus ( ). But on the upside we get Marion back, yaaaaaaaay!
Cate...Aaaaah she looks so fab and I can't wait to see her be just downright evil -squeeee-
Ah yes!! They must use the map...I will squeal my head off in the middle of the theatre if that pops up

Yeah, that is a little sad. But I'm sure it will be good nonetheless.
Kind of funny, isn't it, that Cate Blanchett is now in an Indy film when John Rhys Davies was in it before The Lord of the Rings? Weird connection.
I'm sure they'll use the map too. It will probably have all those little things like the old ones.

My brother says, in an interview, Spielberg has said that it will be the same kind of film as the old ones were, so things like the map etc will still be used. Everything's just the same, but a few years later.
I seriously hope Sallah gets a mention at least, and Marcus. It wouldbe good if they could incorporate the character's death into the story or something.
Marion was probably my favourite of the females - did not like the second one - although the woman from the third was Ok as well. I like the fact they are bringing an old character back, rather than introducing two new females.

Awesome. I'm glad to hear the map will return.
Yeah, a mention of both Sallah and Marcus would be good. Be another nice nod in the direction of continuity. I've heard that Jim Broadbents character will be a little like Marcus, so that should be interesting.
Marion was my fave female too. I'm really looking forward to seeing her interaction with Indy.

eek, i can't wait for this film too come out. i love indiana jones! i normally object to sequels as a matter of principle, but i'm willing to push my principles aside for another indiana jones film. i remember watching the original three with my dad when i was little, so i'm going to have to drag him along to the new one for old times' sake.
and according to imdb, it comes out in the UK on may 22nd as well.

Woohoo! I can't wait! I've been waiting so long for this to come out.
I love all the films, they are some of my favorites. And I adore Shia LaBeouf... he is one of my favorite actors.

Some people think it's going to be bad just because he's old. I disagree. I think, hey, just because you're old doesn't mean you can't still be cool!
Looks like Broadbent's character is a little like Marcus just by the preview.
