Just saw Jurassic World for the first time ^^ Maybe it didn't beat the first JP movie but is definitely on the second place.

I put this movie on for my niece and nephew to watch yesterday. I'm glad they enjoyed it. I loved this movie when I was a kid. Love that movie, even better than the 1st Fieval. Had the VHS tape of it when the kids were small. The voice of Wylie was the last part James Stewart had as an actor before he passed away some years later. I always liked the cat 'Tiger' who thought he was a dog. At the time we had an orange cat named Klinger who had so many "dog" characteristics that one of his nicknames was 'Tiger'.
What movie did I watch last.... Kings Go Forth with Frank Sinatra, Tony Curtiss, and Natalie Wood. A good movie even with its Hollywood happy ending. The book was much darker.

^ I agree. I've always liked the second one better than the first. Lol, Tiger was an interesting character and he's always been one of my favorites.

Grimalkin wrote: Just saw Jurassic World for the first time ^^ Maybe it didn't beat the first JP movie but is definitely on the second place. Same with me. I saw it a total of ten times in theaters (and three on Blu-ray and DVD, I prefer it on Blu-ray, since it has more theater quality sound. On the DVD, you can hardly hear the voice on the intercom in the background, on Blu-ray, it's as loud as the theater version), mostly in 3D, except for the last time, which was in 2D. I just rewatched the original on Blu-ray about a week ago, and I'm a little curious as to what Dennis Nedry's financial problems were to try to attempt to steal dinosaur embryos and sell them to a rival bioengineering company. Spent too much on candy bars, perhaps? To quote Hammond: "Find Nedry, check the vending machines!" I also find it ironic that he's played by Wayne Knight, who as some of you may know, played Newman on Seinfeld. This goes to show you that you shouldn't hire Newman, since he's a menace in any fandom!

Is anyone planning on seeing the new Marvel movie?
I've enjoyed the previous ones and am wondering if this one is worth watching.

I am planing on seeing it but probably not in theaters. I liked the others and think this one should be alright too as far as I know but honestly have not looked into it that terribly much yet.

Evil.Shieldmaiden wrote: Is anyone planning on seeing the new Marvel movie? Nope, but I am going to the new Independence Day movie. It looks awesome! Just bought the 20th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray (my only Blu-ray only movie) of the original on eBay (they're sold out everywhere, except for one of my local drugstores, but they only have the DVD) on eBay for about $25.00 that includes both the theatrical and extended editions of the film (I didn't know there was an extended edition). Watched the original on television on Saturday (luckily, it was on a channel I actually get), so it seems I'm still on a nostalgic kick (first Jurassic Park/World and now Independence Day).

Les Miserables (musical) hammy acting and awful music (especially the lyrics); packed it in about two -thirds of the way through.
