i'd like to point out that i didn't mind Archuleta that much, but for 2 things: a) he sang ONLY ballads 99% of the time, and b) he ALWAYS squinted his eyes shut when he got more intense on a song.
other than that, i didn't really mind him per se, i just wanted Cook to win. plus, he's from my hometown. 
oh, and i was sooo happy that the producers FINALLY allowed contestants to accompany themselves with instruments. i honestly think Daughtry would have won if he would have been able to play along with the band like Cook did. _________________ V.T.W. 1/11/61-11/30/10

This was the first American Idol season that I watched. And I started to watch it from the finals, there was only something like seven people left. I just liked David Cook so much! I'm glad he won the whole competition. He has an amazing voice and he seems to have a great personality too.
I didn't really like anyone else, they were good, but not great. Archuleta had a very good voice too, but otherwise he was a little boring.

Yay for Cookies 
I wasn't a fan of him before. Only after the Dolly Parton week, i was officially a fan. But seriously, we deserved to win.  Oh, that's so true! I never liked him and I'm so glad Cookie won! He deserved it so much more than that whiny little 17-year-old.  Bought all of his songs off of iTunes! woot!

Ha (remembering that I'm a Cookie), did you guys see him perform the National Anthem for the NBA playoffs? Haha, he killed it (and not in a good way).
My dad looked at me and says, completely deadpan "All the Archuleta fans around the world are crying."
I laughed so hard.

David (Cook) and Jason were the best. I love them *huggles them* I mean I really liked them all really, but those two are my favorites.
