And again, what is Elizabeth wearing in that third picture? Something calculated to show off her figure (or lack thereof) to the very best advantage? And she seems to have made a point of looking confused in every single AWE picture. Loving the chinese costume though!

Well, her outfit in the bathhouse pic isn't exactly of her own choosing. The rest of her attire is...confiscated...by force. Sao Feng's smart enough to expect Elizabeth to have something up her sleeve, so they simply minimize the number of sleeves in which to hide it (in other words, leaving her in only her undershirt).

What's everyone's problem with Elizabeth's clothes (either in pictures or concept art)? They're just clothes... it's a film... it's a costume! Even though Keira does not have that big of a bosom to show off, that kind of cleavage was normal back in those days on all types of dresses for all women (whether they were part of the aristocracy or at the very bottom of the food chain). The undergarments she is wearing is covering her whole entire body, it's not like she's wearing a push-up bra and thong! *shakes head*

Ms. Gamgee, Oh, okay. Well, I can kind of see where you get that he looks like a dancer judging by that picture. However in honesty the only thing that I think when I look at that picture...is wow he's hot.

Personaly I don't mind what Elizabeth is wearing. The outfit that she has in most of the pictures that we've seen so far (like in pictures 1 and 2) really aren't my favorite choice for what they could have put her into wear but I can live with it. Then as for what she's wearing in the 3rd picture...I have to like it because I own a shirt nearly identical to that one that I really like to wear. So thumbs up on that shirt or whatever kind of attire she wants to call that one.
Then as for the concept art of her...if I was her I would be very upset. I mean she doesn't look like that if I was her I would take offence. Not because they had her wear that kind of shirt as much as how they uh...manipulated her body. (shakes) I'm very disappointed that they did that. It is so demeaning all the way around. Once again they are giving the impression of how a woman should look to be acceptable...(shakes head again). I really think that they should just let Keira look what she actually looks like. No more of this computer, drawing, or any other kind of mainpulation of her looks.

^ they 'manipulated' her chest on the cover of the King Arthur DVD (as well as the poster). Apparently she didn't mind or else she probably would have sued them for doing so *shrugs*

As for Lizzie's costume... Personally, I don't have any problem with it. As people said, she doesn't have much to show off, but really that's not the point. Eru mentioned it was the "style" back then, and truthfully, it was. All women did the cleavage trend, it was big back then, and now it's not. Many, many people in our world today [especially women] don't exactly dress modestly anymore. It's all about showing the most skin sometimes. So, what Elizabeth is wearing really shouldn't shock you all that much. Plus, she is covered more than we're giving her credit for. [/rant]

I know, I'm aware of that. But this isn't history, this is a movie incorporating history, and though this is likely incredibly naive of me I feel that the cleavage is just...unnecessary. And it doesn't shock me, but I still wish it wasn't there.

i jsut want to point out that kira gave them permission to enhance her chest for king arthur.

anyways the only thing that bothers me about the pic. is that they drew it like that when its not there. but it really doesn't bother me that much becouse that was the style.....or so our history says........and anyways it won't be that much in the movie....no disrespect to her but they would have to do alot of enhancing for her to be that big. so there's really know way for her to show that much
