ethelfleda, Oh that sounds really cool. I wish I had known that that was going to be on. I probabley would have watched it. However I am unable to imagine my (I like Prince William and he is just so...cute) Prince William dancing around to Nelly Furtodo. I would like to see it though so I can stop trying to imagine it. lol
The last thing that I watched was the nascar race. It was pretty good and my favorite driver (Jeff Gordon) finished in secound place so I am prettyy well pleased. Oh and Mrs. Haldir, they had a car there today that said "Red Sox" on it! I nearly fell out of my chair because I had never seen it before and it reminded me of you. lol So I just had to tell you. lol
Uh before that I watched the Uk world cup -20 (USA vs South Korea soccer game). It was a pretty good match.

Concert for Diana - I wasn't really interested in half the acts, I only switched over now and again to see who was on and what was happening. The act from Swan Lake was really great to see, and also Dommy Osmond and Jason Donovan. I missed Connie Fisher sing and Boris Becker and John McEnroe unfortunately, but it is repeated so I can watch it again. The best and most important part for me, is seeing what impact Diana had on the various people who spoke about her, and the old footage of her as a child was beautiful.

^ even though i'm a dance fan, i wasn't that keen on the bit from swan lake - for me, classical versions pale in comparison to matthew bourne's production. connie sang memory, and she started good, but lost it in the last verse.
anyhow, last thing i watched was the 1995 final of gladiators (found it on some obscure channel and taped it).

Concert for Diana- What a sweet way to remember her by, and i thought it was so funny to see the two princes dancing etc. And Harry kept shaking hs finger at William when he was dancing, I could imagine him ridiculing him for dancing.
Canada Day Celebrations in Ottawa- Wow, i really dont have any Canadian spirit today... im way too lazy to get out of the house and participate in any celebrations, although I might go see the fireworks later.
Chile vs Canada Fifa U-20 soccer match- What a good game, and Canada lost, how dissapointing.

^What do you get when you put the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago White Sox in the washing machine? The Bostago Pink Sox! Bwahahahaha...
The Congo/Austria Soccer Match- They were playing in the Commonwealth stadium in Edmonton, and it was funny to see a bunch of soccer players running around on the football field, you could still see the numbers on the field.

It's been raining all day so they have been showing some matches from years ago. Boy, were they good. I'm also officially in love with Jimmy Connors. *drools* And coincidentally the guy he coaches, Andy Roddick. *double drools* Oh, and the guy that is playing doubles with the brother of our number one British player, Eric Butorac. *triples drools* All Americans. It must be the accent. Andy Roddick is <3 when he's not angry. The tennis commercial he does is absolutely adorable. Yay for AR fans! OMG, is he in an advert?! *youtube here I come*
Wimblendon . Venus Williams vs Maria what's-her-face. If there is any justice in this world, please let a pink pigeon come down and carry her off as I don't like her and I never shall.... *folds arms and stamps foot*

imagine. it was a documentary following damon albarn and james hewlitt (the creators of the cartoon band gorillaz) as they put together an opera based on a traditional chinese story. albarn's methods for composition were fascinating, and the show looks amazing. i really want to see it now.
