Hai, did you take them with a professional camera? Or have them cleaned up? Because they look really sharp, and clean. -nodnod-

Hmm... Blade.. I didn't like that one SO much.. and Buffy seemed a little too... normal to me. But Interview with a Vampire is my favourite of the lot.

Yes.. I read Dracula a while ago. and I loved the gothic quality it held.. but you're right, I don't really find vampire movies scary.. they're just really interesting.. not to mention the pretty people. XD;;

Nope I just used my digital camera (Sony DSC-P73) and held really still lol. I used a flash as well which usually helps if you don't want a blurry picture (if you don't have a tripod). I did add a slight contrast to the pictures (like value 5 or 10) to make the colors pop out a bit more (I hate pale-looking pictures lol).

No-ones mentioned the old Hammer Horrors?
Christopher Lee was the quintessential Dracula and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Others I like: Interview with the Vampire, Blade Trilogy (yah even Trinity was good), Underworld, From Dusk till Dawn.

I dont take Buffy/Angel too seriously, so I found enjoyment in the cheesyness of the whole thing. Plus..well, Joss Whedon=Genuis.
:-D

-nodnod- I know what you mean.. those pale pictures are icky.. but thebquality in those are beautiful.. looks as though they've been professionally taken. ^^;;
The pictures of the house are amazing... the colour stands out.. a LOT.
But.. that must have been terriying getting close enough to take the pictures of the alligator. o_o;;

Oh, and yes.. I loved the old Hammer Horror films, too.. Christopher Lee definately played a good Dracula.. he was considered sexy, back then. That was the first step in making sexy vampires, ne?
The very first Dracula movie... Dracula looked rather... strange. o_o;;

I'm old enough to say Christopher was one of my first childhood crushes. I absolutely adored him, and yes you may think I'm odd. But I still hold a wee torch for him now.
:P

The first one..Nosferatu?
That is a classic. Very dark and the silence makes it very creepy and atmospheric.

-grins- Nah, not odd.. I can see why you liked him, when I look back at the old movies. Since then, they tend to make vampires more.. well, Tom Cruise played Lestat, didn't he? XD;;

Hai! Nosfaratu.. that's very atmospheric... the old movies are sometimes the best, for that kind of quality.. since then, people try and make them to show off the celebrities.. which is a shame.
Like in Interview with a Vampire, as much as I adored Antonio Banderas' rendition of Armand, in the books he was a seventeen your old boy.. not a thirty year old Latino. He was chosen just to make the movie more popular, I think.

It kept people like me happy.
Antonio Banderas + long black hair = happy Phoenix.

Yes, he was lovely in that, indeed....
.. I mean, they couldn't have really had some seventeen year old guy play such a powerful character...
Antonio Banderas made it a powerful representation. ^^;;

I actually like Tom Cruise as Lestat. It's one of the few movies where he is actually good lol. I adore Brad Pitt as Louis!

Oh yeah, absolutely. He totally owned the role.

Same here, and I'm not a Tom Cruise fan at all. I refuse to watch the QotD movie, because Stuart Townsend makes my blood boil.
:disgust:

Brad was great as well.

I saw the QotD film but I didn't like it much... I don't know.. I had expected it to be totally different.

I don't want to find out lol
Stuart Townsend just annoys me so much..it's irrational I know.
Imagine him as Aragorn if PJ hadn't realised his mistake.

Grrraaarrrrrrr

Hm.. I watched the QotD film, and... really hated it.. I just didn't like the acting... I don't mind Stuart Townsend; he was alright as Dorian Gray, as far as I acn remember.. but as Lestat... that film made me cringe..
