I was thinking about seeing this movie, but after reading about, I don't think I'll see it in the theaters. I might see it when it comes out on DVD. One complaint I read about Anne Hathaway was that she's too pretty for the role- Jane Austen was said to be very plain-looking.

I think I only enjoyed it as much as i did because i was expecting soemthing really really really bad, and it exceeded my expectations, even if it was a little bit.

Mmm, I can see how that would work. It makes me sad that they couldn't have done it better... it's not like they didn't have the resources.

I think one of the things i disliked was that thier relationship at the beginning just sprouted really fast, like, it didnt develop, one minute she's helping him up off the floor after the fight, the next minnute they're in love.
Didnt like that.

Mmhm.. truthfully their wasn't much character development anywhere. Or at least I didn't see enough of it for a 2 hour movie.
