Kingpin in Daredevil was caucasian....and so on and so on lol
Kayla not being Native is a shame, but so long as Lynne can grasp the character and bring her to life. I'm happy.
You have a point. Some things that they did aren't such a big deal, and some things work better onscreen than in the comics (which is why they changed the Phoenix storyline so much). I suppose as long as they can make it believable, I'll deal. _________________

I'm loving the new pics too. I have hi-res ones saved, but anywhere I upload them they shrink them down 
The claws are part CGI in places other places are real. They get put inside Hughs hands when they're clenched up. Not sure what they get made out of though.
Ánië Súrion: I totally agree. The comics won't go away, they'll always be there. So changing the stories and characters up a little isn't too bad,so long as it's done right. _________________

It's such a shame they're not making Silver Fox a Native though. That would have looked so beautiful on screen
I am so stoked about this film though! I can't believe we're getting more X-Men loveliness 
I think I might have a little X-Men marathon today just for the heck of it _________________

I'd most definetly prefer it. It's not like there can't be any Native actresses out there that aren't worthy of the role. But I believe Lynne is Shakespearian trained, so that must have counted for something.
Ah I'd love an X-Men movie marathon or animated series marathon. But alas at the weekends the tv belongs to my daughter  _________________

I saw some pictures of the actress on IMDb. She has quite an interesting face. Maybe they'll dye her hair black or something, that would actually look really cool on her. But like you said, it's not like there aren't any Native American actresses out there. _________________

^Wow, thanks for the link! Ooh, it's nice to see Wolvie in action again - love Sabretooth's claws too. By the way, does anybody know if they're starting at the very beginning of Wolverine's life, like with the Wolverine: Origins comic? With "Dog" Logan and Rose and all?  if no one knows what I'm talking about, just ignore me. Uber-geek here who gets her supply of comics from a huge Marvel fan.  _________________

It's not 100% based on the Origins comics. There has been an actor cast as young James. Well..second actor as the original boy cast had to pull out. I'm not sure if Rose is in it, still early days though. Dog is a confusing character. Is he Sabretooth? Or was it just coincidence?
I think Dog is Sabretooth.

On IMDb.com the role of young Wolverine states as "young Logan". Wonder if they'll incorporate the real name of Wolverine in this film or if they'll stick with Logan?
Do you know why they named him Logan for the films? Or is that name mentioned in the comics or the series?

I'm hoping he is referred to as James, but it's not a huge deal if they use Logan. Could be confusing to non-comic fans. I guess it's all dependent on how far back they want to go with the Origin story and how much they want to show, before fast forwading towards 15 years prior to X-Men.
In the comics he was always called Logan, then they began his Origin and it was revealed he was called James Howlett borne of a well to do Canadian family.

Thank God, Gambits gonna be in this one! I thought they'd bring him into the third movie but no... and couldnt ask for a better Wolverine though... seriously. I came across the wb's version of X-men evolution and i saw how they portrayed wolverine... hugh jackman owns

I totally agree about Hugh Jackman pwning as Wolvering but what I really wanted to say is that I think your Tintin avatar owns! We own all the Tintin films on VHS - they're so awesome! _________________
