But they have changed her. This is a scrap.

You should probably edit your posts, rather than double posting. ;) It just saves page space. :-)

I don't always think Disney songs are all they are cracked up to be. For every good one there are three that are crap. And I think it was a wise move for the Pixar films not to have musical numbers unless they could guarantee they would be the best of the best. Toy Story was really a pioneering film and to have rubbish songs would really not have helped.

Disney films are what I have grown up with, I spent hours in the Disney store and you don't go to Disneyland 3 times for not liking the company or the films, but there are some I like more than others, and I find people look at them through rose-tinted spectacles because they remind people of their childhood.

For me, Beauty and the Beast is the ultimate Disney film. It has the best songs (I love every single one, which is a first for me), the characters are fantastic, the animation is superb and there is a heroine who is not a shrinking violet and neither is she all princessy and puny. It's like what Disney was working towards all those years.

Sorry. Now it's better.
And let's talk more about Disney than Pixar, because Princess will bring the best out of Disney. In my opinion at least.

It's Ok. :-)

I like that drawing of the Princess I think, although she looks somewhat different to the normal Disney female. Shame they scrapped it.

She somehow resembles a barbie, but anyway she's cute. Glen Keane (famous Disney animator) is the director of Rapunzel, and he's animating her. So I have an idea that she will in a way resemble Ariel in her final design. However I like a lot Tiana. Do you know that her voice actress is Anika Noni Rose? I saw her in Dreamgirls.

I want Charlotte to look similar to Kristin Chenoweth, even thought she won't voice her.

Here is a part of the opening song in Princess and the Frog: ''Down in New Orleans'' :
http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=yobELtiUjEE

But maybe almost no one is going to listen it, because it seems that almost no one cares about this film. And I'm sure this movie will be the best thing Disney has given us in all the 2000 (i'm including live-action and 3D. But last year Disney was also powerful, with Ratatouille and Enchanted. The best films of 2007)

The song's pretty good, I love the jazz. Remember: Dr John will sing the song, not Randy Newman. :)
