I think it was actually fitting. Since HP is a story about death and life and the effects of both, at least from what I have read about J.K. Rowling and the series that it was a bittersweet end.

To be honest, I don't mind the epilogue. It was written rather poorly [years ago!], and JKR should have rewritten it a bit more than what she did. If anything, I think it was the juvenile writing style and almost "happy go lucky" ending that most people can't stomach. I am excited for the movie epilogue though. I hope they rework some of the dialog so it doesn't come across as silly.

They're finally showing the long trailer in movie theatres now.. I just hate the waiting time... I know good things come to those who wait but good things doesn't get better if you're patiently waiting for them. I want it NOW!!! And the thought of having to wait for part II for another 6 months.. it's killing me.. -sniffle-

Ahh I just watched the trailer and I must have gotten goosebumps every two seconds. Then I saw your poster of the burning Hogwarts, Larael, and I just got goosebumps again :P

The 7th book should have ended the same way Harry lived as a teenager: recklessly. The current ending is satisfying, but it would have resonated far more with me if there'd been a promise of future adventure. Without any actual future adventures. So hopefully no book 8.

Has anyone seen these? Leaked images from the filming of the epilogue.

I hope I don't look that old when I'm 36.

>.< The make-up man was a bit heavy handed with the receding hairlines and eye bags methinks.

Oh, aye, the makeup looks awful. [Although Ginny and Ron really aren't that bad!] I just hope they clean it up a bit with CGI.

One month to go! Any particular scenes anyone is looking forward to?

All the scenes with the Half Blood Prince ;) Those are what I am looking forward to most. Especially looking back into his memories. I really hope they capture that dynamic between Lily and Snape...

Ugh, I can't wait!!

Pandy, you're definitely one after my own heart! I am seriously going to ignore the films for the rest of my life if they mess Snily up. :P

<3 I knew you would appreciate my thoughts :) But I agree, if they mess that up I will be so upset.

I am already upset that they had Harry's eyes blue in the films when clearly Lily's are green... I wonder how they are going to do that scene... I already know I am going to embarrass myself with the waterworks during these last two films.

Have you seen the newest film posters - the closeups? I was so excited to see the one of Harry because of his green eyes. I thought they would surely go in an make them green digitally, but of course, they didn't. :( The Snape one is the best by far though.

I love the close ups and I must say every time I see an article online or new photos or commercials popping up my heart stops and my lip trembles and eyes begin to water....

This is going to be so hard :(

It really is, and I'm not looking forward to it for that reason. [Although I suppose I'm torn since I am looking forward to seeing the actual film!]

By the way, I'm putting my new banners up right now. You're smexy Snape banner reminded me. :P

"I'll join you when hell freezes over," said Neville. "Dumbledore's Army!" he shouted, and there was an answering cheer from the crowd, whom Voldemort's silencing charms seemed unable to hold.

Granted, this will be part two. But whatever.

I also like sneaking and disguise, so going into Gringotts should be fun.

I am looking forward to the hunt of the horcruxes! I just want them to not leave anything out but I know they have to for movie sake :(

"Not my daughter, you b!tch" --anyone else excited for this one?!

NOTE: Next weekend I will be in NYC partaking in the 4th annual World Cup with my College Quidditch Team!!! If you are going then I'll see you there <3

Seriously, I'm kind of ashamed to admit that I'm more excited for Part 2 than Part 1. I mean, Part 1 is going to be epic, but all of my absolute favourite parts of the book are going to be in Part 2.

Pandy - that sounds awesome! Do take pics, would you?
