I love this show. I hope either Taylor or Elliot wins.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHRIS WAS VOTED OFF LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE SO TOTALLY DESERVED TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear, me and my family voted for him like 10 times on Tuesday night, so I don't know why he was voted off!!!!!!! First it was Mandisa, now Chris... almost all of my favorites are gone!!!! If Taylor weren't still on the show, then there would really be no point in watching the rest of the season! So thank God for Taylor. Atleast I got him to vote for all the way now!

Yeah, she totally did!!!!!!!! And yet she's still in the competition!!!!! Well, Elliott was just voted off last night. I thought he would go home last night, even though I'd much rather Katharine had gone home. She just doesn't deserve to be in the Final 2. She's so incredibly full of herself. She honestly thinks that she's the best thing that's ever happened to AI!!! And lately she's been criticizing the judges' comments, even if they're true. It disgusts me. Atleast Taylor is in the Final 2, so next Tuesday everyone vote nonstop for Taylor Hicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was really surprised about Chris too...that's really unfortunate, cause I thought he would win the entire competition. But, we can't blame anyoen but ourselves. Most people expected him to win so they voted for the people they thought were in danger of being voted off.

Anyways, with him off, I had wanted Elliott and Katharine as the final two, I'm not a fan of Taylor...He's a great entertainer, but that's it. As far as vocal talent he falls short. That's why I would have preferred Elliott in his place.


But now I'm voting for Katharine. Honestly, I can't see Taylor making any hit singles if he wins. I just don't think he is the next American Idol.

I think Katharine should win, but they're both guaranteed to get record deals so good luck to the both of them.

I was rather surprised at Taylor winning, but I knew he'd be one of the finalists.

I think he won because he's upbeat, enthusiastic, and up tempo, not because he's the better singer. It doesn't matter, Katherine McPhee will do just fine. She's beautiful and marketable.

Will I buy a Taylor Hicks CD? Yes. He makes me smile because of his enthusiasm.

I also thought the finale show was one of the best variety-style music shows I've seen in many years. It was entertaining and fun, and showcased a lot of the perfomers very nicely. It was like they used to do TV vareity shows years ago.

I totally agree with you about why Taylor won. He's really enthusiastic, and I think that the public thought he could sing better than he could because of that!
I think that my favorite Idol winner has to be Kelly Clarkson.

I thought the finale was great too, there was a good variety of songs and they were well-performed, on the whole very entertaining....

except for that Meat Loaf guy, he looked like he was having a heart attack....

No kidding. Meatloaf looked like a guy that never had a chance with Katherine. I'm glad Taylor won, but Katherine is the better singer. I think she's not very original and kind of like the rest. Taylor, I think he'll do a better job selling. SOUL PATROL!!!! I love Taylor because he's so enthusiastic. (Is that even a word?) I wish Mandisa, however stayed longer. I couldn't believe Kelly Pickler stayed longer than Mandisa!

Did anybody else like the Clay Aiken thing? I personally think Clay looked much better than usual with his new haircut. But that Michael Sendecki guy, well...I guess we all have our own issues.

Kelly was okay, but that "Puck & Pickler" thing they did at the finale was hilarious. I don't know, I think both Taylor and Katharine are very talented musicians, and they both deserve to be American Idols. I really couldn't choose which one was better.

I thought Clay looked very hot! I nearly fell off my couch seeing him. I'm like is that him? I love his new haircut.

So what cha think of this AI finale? I thought it was the best, well most entertaining one yet. It's like how will they top off next year?

Woot Woot! Prince, Mary J. Blige, Tony Braxton, uhh...and Meatloaf. I really loved Prince being there. The girl's performance made me cry. I feel a tear coming on....
