I loved this movie! I saw it on saturday. I don't care what people say, I'm a fan of Batman! It was better than all of them! Good action! Batman will always be my fav superhero. Who says he's not super? He's got intelligence and strength. I liked him better than Superman, because Batman has a better story line. Also because I didn't like it when Superman spun around the world trying to save his lover, when she was already dead. Sweet, but can't he accept death? It just seems not fair to life, even if he's a superhero. Batman is cool, because he uses his strength to fight crime, and of course for justice. He uses his intelligence for risky situations. So what if he's rich? He's got a good reason to fight for justice.
My fav quotes in the movie:
"What's the point of all those push-ups if you can't lift a bloody log" - Alfred
When Bruce was chasing out his guests because he was 'drunk'
"I gotta get me one of those!" - police cheif
"Those it come in black?" - Bruce

I love the scene where Batman is like all injured and he just roles out of bed and starts doing pushups totally randomly! It's so funny! I know for a fact there will be a 2nd movie, and the Joker will be the villan.

Okay. So, I just have to say I saw it for the 3rd time last night with Larien at the University of Montana. Anyways, I just decided to make fun of her because at the beginning of the movie, when Bruce falls down the well and all the bats come out, and it's really loud...well let's just say Larien didn't take it too well. Ha ha ha. She isn't one who takes to scary things well, and she JUMPED 2 feet out of her chair and then slid down all the way. I died of laughter for 5-10 minutes! It was hilarious!!! So, I can't wait for it to come out on DVD so I can play it and watch her freak out again. Mwa-ha ha ha ha. *evil laughter continues off into the distance*

All I can say is Christian Bale and wow... definately my all time favorite Batman movie, but closely followed by Batman Forever; though I must say I didn't like Katie Holmes in Batman Begins at all. A better choice would've been Kate Beckinsale or maybe even Liv Tyler (I can't think today so I'm just throwin' out the names of my fav actresses)

For some reason, I like whenever Liam Neeson talks. He is so cool as a villian. "Death does not wait for you to be ready! Death is not considerate nore fair! And make no mistake in here you will face your death!" "Don't be afraid, Bruce. You're just an ordinary man in a cape. That's why you couldn't fight injustice, that's you can't stop this train" "Only a cynical man would call what these people have "lives", Wayne. Crime. Despair. This is not how man was supposed to live. The League of Shadows has been a check against human corruption for thousands of years... We sacked Rome. Loaded trade ships with plague rats. Burned London to the ground. Every time a civilization reaches the pinnacle of its decadence... we return to restore the balance." You got to admit it! You got to love it when Ra's A Ghul talks. Plus the plan was pretty good.

oh I loved Christian Bale's performance! I had a banner that said Why do we fall master Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves back up. Good line...

Have you guys seen the previews for The Dark Knight, the sequel to Batman Begins. That means the same lovely Christian Bale, all his crew, with the addition of Heath Ledger!
I'm usually wary of sequels.... but Christian Bale!

I saw the leaked trailer for The Dark Knight yesterday and I was very, very impressed.
I was somewhat skeptical of Heath Ledgers casting and even some of the early pics of him looked a little off for me. But...I am now completely won over. He IS the Joker. He captures the essence of the character perfectly.
Christopher Nolan deserves some serious kudos for finally creating a Batman that is worthy of his comic counterpart. There has been no movie or tv version of Batman that has come close up until now.
In Nolan We Trust!
