I agreed with Eric but yeah mugglecast is awesome; the NY GoF premiere is on saturday! The Leaky Cauldron and Mugglenet are doing their live podcast!! lol yes you all think I'm insane but I so wish I could be there But I live far far away from New York
No I didn't see that Vivi, I've been avoiding spoilers
So what do you guys think of how Ron is being portrayed in the movies? They always seem to show him scared or doing something stupid; I think it's unfair because he's not like that; he's a really loyal friend who would do anything for Harry and for the Order (even if he's a bit stupid sometimes)

I agree with you in the whole Ron thing. They portrayed him as stupid and most of the time in the books, he is not.I think the script doesn't help the character.
Today is the NY premiere. I hope Rupert will show because I read somewhere that a relative died
I can't believe the movie will start this weekend!!!

I have read the book and seen the first and second movie but I must admit I'm not a die hard Potter fan. Though I haven't read the Goblet of Fire recently it was still clear in my mind and I might have compared the movie to the book too much because... well, off course they had to leave out a lot of the plot but.... *sighs*
My first impression of the movie was... incomplete, fragmented...
First sin... how could they leave out the Quidditch match?????? It was the World Championship in Quidditch and and and.... I got really excited about it expecting a great match and then they cut it!!!!.... It would have made such a great opening, really got potential visually on the big screen. *sob*
Then Dumbledore.... he's nasal....!!!!!!
And I missed a lot of the conflict stuff going on between the characters, like Ron being jalous at Harry, Harry struggling with himself, Hermione being ignored.. and all the love issues....
Erm.... and the rise of Voldemort... when reading this part in the book I had this creepy uneasy feeling, it was so dark and just scary. I could hardly breathe and when I had finished the book I really had this uncomfortable feeling that I couldn't be happy because Voldemort was out there somewhere. And I didn't get that feeling at all by watching the part in the movie....
Anyway... think I shouldn't compare the book and the movie so much...

I WATCHED THE MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, for me, it's the best HP movie so far!!. Daniel has finally improved his acting(there was a certain part almost at the end in which he doesn't want to leave the body of someone, that broke my heart and I believed him ) Emma Watson is always great. The scene at the end of the Yule Ball really hit me. Rupert was also great. He made me laugh at the Yule Ball. Miranda Richardson as Rita Skeeter was just great. She was Rita! Brendan Gleeson ad Moody was brilliant. Moody was freakier than in the book but it worked for the movie. The Weasley twins (Oliver and James) they stoled the movie with their lines. All the people in the theather were just laughing with them.Great work! Bonnie Wright was also great as Ginny, which is good for the 6th movie. She had more lines and she was more like the Ginny in the 6th book.Robert Pattinson as Cedric what can I say?? I just loved him!!! At the graveyard scene, I cried.Good jos as Cedric. Stanislav as Krum only had a few lines but the look in his eyes said a lot.Clemence Poesy as Fleur also didn't have so many lines(almost all of them were in french) At first i didn't like her, but then I felt sorry for her in the tasks. Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy didn't appear in the movie that much but he was also brilliant. Jason Issacs as Lucious, just great!Only a few scenes but great. Finally , the character i was just dying to see, Lord Voldemort it really blew my mind. Ralph Fiennes was just... I can't believe he became the Dark Lord. He was just perfect!!! Ok I been writing a lot about the actors.
The movie(movie-wise not movie from a book) was excellent. Movie from a book not that much. There were a lot of flaws(it was very fast at the beggining) but anyhow I just LOVE it!!!!!!
Now, if you guys already watched it, What you think?
