The biggest problem with that forum is that it's overrun by the perverts that are J/E shippers. Oh so I am a pervert? I'm a shipper of both and would therefore not mind a J/E ending and feel that was highly uncalled for. Altariel Frodo wrote: However, this doesn't mean the J/E shippers don't drive me mad. I can't stand them. Like I said, they're perverts. They make me want to scream. Gee, thanx!
I dont hate you i'm fine with any ending, as long as Jack and Davy and Bootstrap are fine.
didn't they use his eyes sometimes and other times not? I'll have to go back and double check the extras.

No, what they say on the DV is that Bill was worried about the eyes, and he told the CGI animators that if Davy's never showed enough expression that they should put his in. But on the DVD the speaker says (I think it may have been Jerry, no, im not sure who it was) and I quote "Luckily, we never had to resort to that."
So yes, the eyes were CG'ed too.

Wow I learned something new today! -sigh- Without this board, I would be a completely clueless PotC fan. But I've gained a lot of knowledge from this topic. So instead, I'll bow to everyone's greatness here.

His eyes reminded me of Elijah Wood's

Well of course Jack was flirting. I'm convinced he'll flirt with anything that moves. But for Elizabeth's part, there was never anything coming from her except disgust and confusion. (Example: The last scene, when Jack says 'I'm sorry, it would have never worked between us,' her expression of confusion is priceless.)

Davy's eyes were CGI? Hmm, I didn't know that. I thought it was just his face and that was it. Oh well. I wanted to do a mask of Davy for no particular event. But since they are CGI, that's near impossible. Oh, I'll settle for one of his crew.

^ Lol I agree. I thought it looked very darn good. Everything looked really realistic and it was one of the reasons why my friend and I love the movie so much.

Yeah EJP, they both looked really realistic.
Lij's...because they were real.
and Davy's just because the CGI animators were so darn friggin' amazing!
xD
You know what always looks so realistic that it makes me cringe, that scene with Pintel and Ragetti and they're under the deck where the cannons are and you see the tentacle begin to come up out of the water nad it's suction cup thingies are bieng all.....suction cup-y....>.< it looks quite realistic!
