Well, he's still the father figure. He gives Will a nice father-to-son talk (which got interrupted by my version of the script ENDING!). I want more. *pouts*

well,him being captain of the FD does not mean he has to be evil...the duchman needs a living CAPTIAN William Turner...

Looks like the SparrowBeth ship is sailing. Rememer this could still just be speculation but they are very cool.

I don't know who reported that, but even if it is true, that's no confirmation of a Sparrabeth ending. Trust me; I have sources beyond KTTC or KMC or RTC or any other site. I'm not really supposed to say specifics at this time (or really ever), but believe me when I say that Willabeth has far more going for it by the end of the movie. Yes, Will and Elizabeth are having problems. But clearly so are she and Jack (if that scene is legit, which it does admittedly have some slight chance of being), since she obviously doesn't want to kiss him. A lot of Sparrabethers right now are starting to realize where their ship is going, I think, so they're using anything and everything as "evidence."
And I really wouldn't worry about the whole Dutchman thing. Everyone seems to be confusing Davy's curse with the role of the Dutchman's captain. Just because Will becomes captain of the Flying Dutchman, that doesn't mean that he's doomed to Jones' fate. Again, won't say specifics at this time, but know that Elizabeth has just as big of a role to play.
And if anything I've been told is true, it's going to be one heck of a Willabeth ending.

^Thank god. I find the possibility of a "Sparrabeth" ending rather creepy. Yah, I'm a purist. 
And I'm fine with Will as captain of the Dutchman as long as he doesn't have tentacles growing out of his face.

yay! if Lizzie ended up with Jack I was going to be very unhappy, Will is SO much better for her...but yeah, as longa s Will doesn't turn bad or anything, I'll be happy... I still think that CAPTIAN William Turner sounds funny, he's made a big turn around, first he's wanting to kill jack just because he's a pirate, and he's "not a sailor, or a military man" He's a blacksmith! now He's captain of a ship! a pretty cool ship at that!

YES!!! My thoughts exactly. But why is everyone so concerned over Will's appearance? If he's not evil and he gets Lizzie, I'm okay with it, whether it's clammy, wet fishness or Orlando Bloom. Which, I highly doubt he'll look all weird.
