Guys, this is just a really, really quick plea... but for the sake of my sanity... please don't put Lost spoilers in your sigs! I understand the obsession, completely, but there are certain things I'd rather not find out prematurely -- and death is one of them. Because my life is so busy right now (first year of University) I don't get to watch the ep's right after they air... in fact, usually it's a couple of weeks later than everyone else has seen them.
That being said, I completely freaked out when I saw Dan's death being mentioned. After much ado, deliberating, and maybe even a little crying... I've decided to go ahead and watch the episode anyway... but honestly, Lost, WHAT. THE. HECK.
I'm so angry and upset and bothered by his death that I'm not even going to bother with a rant, because it will probably just be emotional babbling anyway. So yeah.
Good to see the Lost community alive and well though. I really love you guys. And I don't mean to criticize or anything, honest, I just wanted to beg y'all to not put any further spoilers in. Because (in spite of the fact that I've sworn never to watch it again) I probably will still remain a Lost fan (force of habit) and I kind-a like the horror-stricken, shocked feeling I get with every episode.

So, um... yeah. What?
spoilers
There's... two... Lockes? Or was the second one that guy from the beach at the beginning? And what happened at the end?!
Come to think of it, Supernatural's finale (that I just got around to watching today) had the same sort of ending - something BIG and BAD and with BLINDING WHITE LIGHT is about to Happen, and then it just fades to bright white shiny credits.
It wasn't any less annoying the second time around. T_T

The finale made me want to punch the screen...not because I hated it but because it was the most torturous cliffhanger..EVER.
**Spoiler**
I have my a theory on who the other Locke is. It's the dude that was on the beach with Jacob at the beginning. Didn't quite catch his name. How it's him, I don't know lol but something about it just feels like it is.
Juliet
That was one of the most heartbreaking things on this show ever. Sawyer reaction only made it miles worse.
Speaking of Miles. Now my top guy on the show with Dan and Des gone. Him second guessing the bomb plot was just brilliant. I loves him

Still in Finale shock.
(1) I have to say it now: Juliet's death was horrible. I very rarely cry watching anything. Even when Charlie died, I only cried a little in Greatest Hits, and even then I was egging on my emotions. Not this time. I was trying so hard not to cry because I was watching with my family, but that didn't help at all. The second she fell...it was terrible. I don't know why I've become so attatched to Juliet, but I think it was in part because I think she kind of reminded me of myself. Whereas Kate simply annoys the heck out of me and I can't comprehend anything she does, I easily understand Julie'ts choices and motivations. Seeing her go is going to be very, very difficult for me. And seeing Sawyer upset...that was sad, too, but also in a strange way comforting, because it showed how much he cared for her.
No more Skate. Ever. I'm sorry, but if Juliet isn't around 6th season, Sawyer had BETTER not go back to Kate after three years or I will lose all respect for him.
(2) On the ending: Epic. Some people have been really bashing the white screen, but I thought it was genius. I'm still a natural believer in WHH, but after that explosion, anything is fair game. I'm very excited for next season.
(3) Miles also rocks my world. His simple observation -- that they might be causing what they are trying to avoid -- was genius. I love that guy.
(4) YAY VINCENT! And Rose and Bernard. It was fun to see them, and you can't blame them for what they decided. Well, now we know who's in the caves.
(5) OhmygodJacob: I was not expecting that. At all. In the very beginning, Jacob gets a (young!) physical form, a nemesis, a view of the Black Rock and a complete statue. Holy insert-word-of-your-choice. That was unexpected. And the Jacob flashbacks...those were interesting. I'm not really sure what they mean, but it's very, very interesting...
(6) Fake Locke - totally saw that coming. Ever since Dead is Dead it has been very obvious, in my opinion, that Locke is not Locke. I thought he was being possessed by the island like Christian, so the idea of Jacob's nemesis possessing him was no great stretch for me. Nemesis was prbably inhabiting Christian, too. But seeing that body plopped out of the box...it finally hit, that the Locke we know and love was really gone. His last moments of failure and hopelessness and betrayal, his life's work and final death nothing but an example of his use as a pawn. Very, very depressing stuff.
(7) Jack's motivations for blowing up the island: Kate? Give me a break. This whole love quadrangle thing was old before it started.
OH! The beat-down. That Sawyer-Jack fight was five years in the making and I was thrilled that it finally happened. Gooo Sawyer.
(8) Jacob can be killed: What the heck? Jacob WAS killed: WHAT THE HECK???

Ok, so I’ve really probably already rambled my heart out elsewhere and to my family… but I think I can ramble a little more here. After all, this was an epic season finale! (though still not my fave)
On the double Locke deal - ok, so I’m not as smart as RA (:P) I really didn’t see this coming. I mean, I had noticed that Locke was acting strange-ish but it didn’t dawn on me. The guy always acts a little odd. Though now in retrospective it makes perfect sense. Though I am feeling really bad for Locke… and Locke fans. I would hate to have my favorite character being used by another person. Just… I dunno. Sad. And I feel terrible for Locke. In all honesty I really thought he was gonna do/be a little something more than just a pawn and a misguided poor guy. *huggles* I’m sorry, Locke, that I never liked you much. I’m sorry that you died like that too. Good twist though. And now I do believe that when Claire told Kate “don’t you dare bring him back” she wasn’t talking about Aaron.
On Juliet and her death/“death” - well, who knows if she’s gone or not. I think she is… at least for the most part, but who really knows. Either way, her ending was.... good grief, powerful stuff. I mean it was hard enough o see her go but Sawyer’s reaction. Gosh. *dies* that was just… the poor guy. I feel terrible for him all throughout the episode and that was, like, the crowning moment. It really was. One of the saddest scenes in LOST. And, darnit, I love Juliet to pieces. She was my favorite female role. *annoyed* but her ending was heroic. I wasn’t sure what to think of it at first but now that I’ve had time to let it process I did like it. At least she didn’t get a “nothing” end like Nicky and Paulo or something. Though on another note I swear that Kate didn't try THAT hard to get those chains off. Stupid Kate. And I totally agree with RA if Sawyer goes back to Kate I will be furious. I will lose probably most all of my respect for him. Juliet was good for him. Though I didn’t like them at all at first I realize it now. And Sawyer better keep her memory sacred and not just go running of with stupid Kate.
Ben - was I the only one who felt AWFUL for him? I mean, talk about Locke being a pawn… I’m getting the feeling that Ben’s just been a pawn this whole time too. I just felt really bad for him. Especailly during his “what about me?” speech and Jacob’s response. I don’t at all blame him for what he did. He’s done a lot for that Island and for the guy he probably looked up to and admired in all his allusiveness to not regconize any of it must’ve been awful. I dunno, I feel bad for him... we never realized it but it seems like now that all he was doing was lying and running scared for the past several seasons. Not to mention when he was talking to Sun it was pretty funny. “Do you expect me to believe that?” “not really.” poor Ben! Someone needs a huggle!
Jacob - whoa. So awesome that we finally got to meet him, see more of that statue, learn more about Smokey (? At least that’s who I think is in Locke’s body/Jacob's enemy ) and see the Black Rock! And so intriguing. Perhaps this is what season 6 will all be about! I hope so! And Jacob… I dunno, he didn’t really disappoint. I was prepared for someone young like him and yeah. The flashbacks were cool. Now the cabin…. Well, I was a little disappointed that they burned it down. I mean, it’s been this big, bad special cabin for so long that it was like “wha-?” but oh well. I think we’ll get a ton more of Jacob next season!
Juliet/Jack’s motivation - yuck. And so pathetic. Though I personally believe there was more to Juliet’s choice then they have revealed thus far.
Sayid getting shot - I was all like “wha-?”!!! And then I realized that he very well could be the token “between life and death” person that they always have at the end of the seasons. Then again if he has really lost the will to live maybe he won’t last much longer. it was so unfair and all Jacob’s fault that Nadia died! *cries* Two of my favorite characters might've bitten the dust in this past episode.
Rose, Bernard & Vincent - seriously all of the Losties need to be like them. I mean, think of how much better off they’d be if they were. If they just chilled and let whatever happen, happen. I really respect/like Rose and Bernard for that. They’re great.
On the ending - ooo, just as ME said it was a double cliff-hanger. So cruel. And so… eep, I-cannot-wait-for-season-6-ish too. Lol And the white light was total win! RA, people have really bashed that!? I thought it was so different and so… fitting, you know? I was really impressed with it. Ah, I too believe Whatever Happened, Happened. Just makes more sense.

(1) Yeah, I guess you're right; Sayid's not-sure situation has been repeated in every season finale. (1: Sawyer, 2: Desmond, 3:(wait, who was 3? Naomi?) 4: Jin) If it's any reason to hope, they've all turned out to be alive and well in the past. But I am very worried about Sayid.
Random note: remember how Sayid messed with the bomb in order to ensure that it would work upon contact? what if he PURPOSEFULLY sabotaged it, which is why it didn't go off when Jack dropped it? I don't know, crazy theory.
(2) Yeah, I did feel sorry for Ben in this episode, but...I don't know, at the same time it's sort of been a progressing theme since the end of the third season that Ben was never as special as he thought he was. Though I think that maybe he is actually very important/special/whatever. Jacob's response was terrible, though. It was like he was asking to be killed.
(3) Yeah, I know! I don't know why people are upset with the white screen, I thought it was awesome.

That's right, Locke and Eko were unsure too. Pretty much everyone in the hatch except Charlie.
haha yay for old episodes! I bought Season 2 on iTunes so I watch those occassionally...it's so much fun to look back knowing what you know now.

I've begun to re-watch season 3. Good times.
seriously, have you guys been hearing the rumors? there's millions of them flying around about who'll return ect., ect.! It's insane! I've heard that Boone, Eko, Shannon, Charlie, and maybe someone else I'm forgetting could all return. Some of them sound pretty sure. All I wish is that somehow time would twist itself and Kate would be lost in the mix and mess of it all. bwahahaha. (not to take smeag's idea or anything ) honestly, is it January yet?

BUMP
Well, I was told I wasn't a true LOST fan until I posted here, so, you know... LOST is too epic for it's thread to die.
Sooooo... uh, yeah. Season 6 rumours... it's been confirmed Charlie's coming back, no? Which, I'm pretty thrilled about... I started really liking him right after he died... which was... annoyingly inconvenient.
Season 3 is the best season, in my limited opinion... and yes. I love LOST.
*feels like a true LOST fan and an idiot at the same time*

LOST thread has returned? *pounces* I just finished the season finale for the second season, and now I'm a nice, big Desmond fan. Jack has become so incredibly annoying, I'm fed up with Mr. Eko, I feel so bad for Hurley, I adore Sawyer with every inch of my soul, and...someone needs to track down that boat Michael's in and kill him off. Ben (who's not yet named, but since I have skillz I know who he is) has gotten very mysterious and I think it's slightly amusing that the people who tortured him are now at his mercy. And why did they want the love triangle?? My guesses:
1.) To kill off Jack.
2.) To stare at Sawyer.
3.) To be slightly annoyed with Kate and not know why.
And Sayid is still awesome. That covers my LOST experience so far. Thank you, thank you. *bows*
*takes little badge that says, "Hello, I'm SR and I'm truly a LOST addict"*
Charlie's coming back? Yay! Even though he got really out of character this season, I still like him anyways. (Yes, I know he dies. ) And Boone, too? He's hott, so I'm all for it. As long as Shannon stays dead, I'm cool with it.
Now I need Season 3. I'm probably going to go to the library to get it tomorrow.

PD, yeah... lol
hehe, really? I'm... I feel... I'm just... I feel fufilled. Like, the hanging up LOST signs and framing LOST cross-sitches were not enough to make me a true LOST fan. But, posting in this thread... My journey to LOST-addiction is complete. [/end-weirdness-here]
Really? Boone? *squee* That would be awesomeful. Haha, Dan's such a spaz, no offense. So weird. But cool-seeming. It would be awesome to see them all back, if they could do it in a way that makes some semblence of sense. Ooo, that poster was awesome.
I think it was.
'cause I am.
SR, nuuuu. Not more Jack hate. *huggles poor Jack* That's alright, though. Just means I don't ahve to share the Jack-obsession with anyone else. Muahaha. Hehe, Sawyer is awesome. And Michael's a major pain. Oh. I would track him down. 'cept... wait, how many spoilers do you know?
Ugh. I hate the stupid love quadrangle. Or whatever the heck it is now... meh. Kate's a real pain. [EDIT:I ranted for a bit about Kate... then realized I was referencing a bunch of season 3 stuff. Sorry. ] Her and Locke should go jump off a cliff together.
Ben is love.

TT, Jack has this leader complex that has started to drive me crazy, but in the past few episodes of Season 3 I haven't hated him too much. I support him and Juliet, yes I do. Juliet has made my top LOST character list. She ROCKS. I just finished episode 8 and Desmond is turning into quite the intense character! I already know Charlie's going to die, but it was still awesome to hear Desmond say that.
I like Kate mainly because she makes Sawyer so happy. I saw "I Do" yesterday, and even though I knew Skate officially happened, I almost cried with happiness. Seriously, I was choking up. Sawyer is my love above any other character in any other fandom, and it's so amazing to see him connect with someone else. What annoys me about Kate is that she can have an amazing scene with Sawyer and then two seconds later be back to Jack. Hey. Girl. You just chose Sawyer. Stop crying over Jack. Ummmm, TT, you're a Jater, right? Oops. I was thinking you were PD for a second and hate Jate. Sorry about that Anti-Jate rant!
Ben is really cool, but he's kind of annoying me. He's causing so many problems for everyone!

Why does everyone hate his leader-ish-ness? I think he's awesome. But, yesh. The him and Juliet thing... I dunno. I think Juliet's awesome... just... 'specially in season 3, it was hard to tell whether she's serious about him or not. Des is epic! You don't like Charlie?
Haha... well, she gets kinda annoying with Sawyer, imho. And a lot of people have made Sawyer happy, in the past. Haha, yeah. Ugh. I know.... doesn't that drive you insane? A lot of charries seem to do that, though... the LOST pairings just aren't that serious. One ep there's a sweet Jate scene, next ep a sweet Jack/Juliet... next a sweet Skate... and yeah. They just play with you. None of the pairings are really deep or thought out, imo. Haha, well, I bounce back and forth. But, no problem. You can hate Jate... completly cool with me. Haha, PD and I get confused waaayyy too much.
Ben is epic. He has some of the best lines. Ever.

I don't hate his leader-ish-ness, but it was getting a little out of control in season 2. Poor Locke. *huggles* I really support Jacket (Jack/Juliet) right now. It makes me like Jack! He's so worried about her, even though she's an Other, and when he put that aloe on her back... I just think they're adorable. Desmond is indeed epic! No, I do like Charlie. I just thought the way Desmond said it was amazing. heehee Charlie's been getting a little annoying, but in the episode I just watched, he was so cute! (3x10)
I never really thought that Sawyer was happy with any of those other women. I thought he just conned them all. I still luvs him anyways. The pairings are getting kind of annoying. They're all cute in their own rights, but all smashed together like that...it doesn't do any of them justice. If there were only two, that would be ok. But four?
Ben is so manipulative that he's wonderful.
