So that for sure is our Johnny Depp. I just thought that I would let you know that the guesses that that dude was Jack are indeed correct. So let the speculation of why Jack looks like that continue. i thought the same thing. but what gets me is that ever since we herd that richerd's was going to be in the movie it was also said that he was playing jacks father...and now he's saying that he mights not be?! when did that happen?

Going back to the Teague thing, really no one's quite sure what to think at the moment. See, one thing that I love about Ted and Terry (especially Terry) is that they both tend to think a lot like me in their style of writing, sense of humor, and way of responding to questions. Something that I also hate about them is that they tend to think a lot like me in their style of writing, sense of humor, and way of responding to questions. In other words, there is great enjoyment to be found in teasing people. A lot. I know that whenever people try to ask me questions about what I have planned in one of my stories, I'll usually answer using a lot of really vague word choices and simply turning their questions around. I may not actually be saying no, but I'm most certainly not about to tell them yes. Unfortunately, TnT also find great enjoyment in confusing people and do so quite often.

For example, when asked on Wordplayer what kind of role Jack's father was going to play in AWE, Terry's only response was, "What makes you think Jack has a father?" It's not a no, and it's not a yes. In fact, it only serves to distract people by setting them off on a completely different train of thought and speculation.

All we've ever known for certain was that Keith Richards has a cameo role as Captain Teague. There has since been much speculation (some of which slowly became accepted fanon), but nothing concrete. Really, he's the least of my concerns. We've always known that his would be a fairly minor role, and I have bigger spoilers to hunt.

very true. i guess i never looked at it that way. i think i got to cought up in what has been said for a long time rather than think that maybe there are other possibilities

but i agree. the role of richerd's in AWE is the least of my concerns...though he may play a role in the storyline and twisting things....it still is supposedly just a camio....or a bit more.

~RinielAranel~, You are not the only person who thinks that Jack being a fish face (at least for awhile) is giving Jack more punishment than he deserves. I think that several of the characters need to get what is coming to them and Jack is among those. I'm not saying that I want him to die or be miserable forever but a little payback might be appreciated as far as I am concerned. See being out for number one works quite well until you get caught being out for number one by somebody else who is out for number one that you have done wrong by in the process (like Jack has as of late...by Davy Jones) So him being a fish face for a few...just a few... scenes...I could certainly live with that. Can we do the same to Bootstrap Bill and Elizabeth too, pretty please? Aw well you can't blame a girl for trying. [/i][/b]

Mel, you brought up a good point. Like I said, I doubt Jack will be fishy forever. Disney is sure to give us the same ol' Jack we started with.
