Going back to the Teague thing, really no one's quite sure what to think at the moment. See, one thing that I love about Ted and Terry (especially Terry) is that they both tend to think a lot like me in their style of writing, sense of humor, and way of responding to questions. Something that I also hate about them is that they tend to think a lot like me in their style of writing, sense of humor, and way of responding to questions. In other words, there is great enjoyment to be found in teasing people. A lot. I know that whenever people try to ask me questions about what I have planned in one of my stories, I'll usually answer using a lot of really vague word choices and simply turning their questions around. I may not actually be saying no, but I'm most certainly not about to tell them yes. Unfortunately, TnT also find great enjoyment in confusing people and do so quite often.

For example, when asked on Wordplayer what kind of role Jack's father was going to play in AWE, Terry's only response was, "What makes you think Jack has a father?" It's not a no, and it's not a yes. In fact, it only serves to distract people by setting them off on a completely different train of thought and speculation.

All we've ever known for certain was that Keith Richards has a cameo role as Captain Teague. There has since been much speculation (some of which slowly became accepted fanon), but nothing concrete. Really, he's the least of my concerns. We've always known that his would be a fairly minor role, and I have bigger spoilers to hunt.

Has anyone visited the AWE's website recently?

Mel, you brought up a good point. Like I said, I doubt Jack will be fishy forever. Disney is sure to give us the same ol' Jack we started with.

Meldawen, Wonderful point! He was an undead pirate in the first one. I had nearly forgotten that. I think that that kind of thing is what Ted and terry will do with fishface Jack as well. I think that I would like that. lol
