I actually would rather not hear about any spoilers for POTC3. It wouldn't be as much as a surprise really.

Ooh, I love spoilers. I actually enjoy movies more when I know what's going on and I don't have to worry about figuring it out.  Then I can appreciate the funny lines, facial expressions, speacial effects, camera angles, whatever else there is. _________________ <center> all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us

thats a good point that i've never though of, i understand that but i'd rather not try to figure something out, let the movie carry you away while you enjoy all of those things. When i'm watching a movie, i try to abandon all of the thoughts about what might happen during it. If you think too hard during the movie, you miss things.

I'm not usually bothered but on special occasions, like Pirates, I like to be surprised. I mean, I was SHOCKED when Barbossa appeared (seriously the credits where halfway over before I recovered) whereas if I'd known it would have been like "Oh, hi dude".

I had no idea it was going to be him. That, I was glad I didn't know. And while I was a bit unhappy - I mean, this guy is DEAD, they'd really have to mess things up to bring him back - I was so glad to see a familiar face from the first movie. I was so despondent about the kiss and mad at Elizabeth (I expected Will to say something and her to explain! I was so mad when it didn't happen) that Barbossa was like "oh, whatever..." I'm going to go see it again with my cousin. Maybe I'll enjoy it more this time lol!
