I have to admit: Anakin in Episode I annoyed me. Jar Jar didn't; he cracked me up. I wish he had more lines in Episodes II and III.

I like Star Wars since it has an interesting story line and has tons of adventure, but Narnia really appeals to my love of fantasy. I'd have to say I like them both equally.

Are you serious, Anduril/Serethiel? Your Godmother is Liam Neeson's brother? You are soooo lucky. He's one of my favorite actors.

My answer between the two choices is already known to everyone.
I think SW is too...Sci-fi..I like more Medieval type stuff..with the swords, horses, bows, etc. besides saber's, ships and such.

I would have to say Star Wars. Although I adore Narnia, I like Star Wars better.
Star wars was very original when it was made. Narnia seems like alot of the other medieval movies nowadays, though it is very good. Although I'm not sure I like the newer star wars as much as the originals (well except for obi-wan! ) In the newer episodes, the screen play and script isn't as well done. And some of the actors(*coughhadyenchristensencough*) arn't as great either.

Lol--Ewan McGregor rocks as Obi-wan. However, he's the only worthwhile character in the newer Star Wars.
Narnia and Star Wars are both actually original. Just because the Narnia movie came out after a lot of other movies that stole ideas from the Narnia books is no reason to call it unoriginal, because it had the plot first.

Well I wasn't calling it un-original....almost every book has some originality, but Narnia isn't AS original as Star Wars was when it was made. Though now there is a ton of space movies too, but when it was made in 1970....there weren't as many. Still, they are both terrific movies/books. (And I agree that Obi-wan is the only worth-while character )

Narnia was the only book of its type, so far as I know, when it came out, too.

Well I know, but Narnia's creatures are based off of alot of Greek Mythology...Centaurs, fauns, monitaurs....they are all mythilogical greek creatures. Also it is based in a medieval time period, and there really was a medieval time period. A Galaxy like star wars, along with it's alien creatures and droids, has never happened.(but seriously I'm not trying to bash either....they are both terrific!:))TrueNarnian wrote: Haha..is it just me, or does Eragon seem unoringinal?
OMG yes! It seems like he just copied and pasted stuff from other books! Star Wars, Narnia, LotR, Pirates....it was sad.

I didn't think CP copied from PotC....
Okay, your point about the creatures of Narnia makes sense, Elven Archer. Thanks.

I think I'll call you Elven--I couldn't call you EA without thinking of "EA Games."
Yeah, I didn't think CP was bad enough that he copied from PotC, but it was still pretty horrendous.
