Okie dokie… for all of you guys who want to know my ending I thought up not long ago here it 'tis:

So you guys have heard my first ending that I came up with. Now here's my latest ending.
Follow At World's End all the way through until the part where Norrie helps Elizabeth escape. Only this time he does go with her. Then all that other stuff happens like it did in the movie. Only once you reach the final battle have Norrie fighting with Elizabeth, Will and the rest. They all end up over on the Flying Dutchman (as they did in the movie) only this time Elizabeth gets stabbed instead of Will… also Will doesn't pick the heart up after it drops on the deck, Norrie does. So while Jack is fighting Jones and Will is over by Elizabeth Norrie (mostly just wanting to help Elizabeth, of course) stabs Jones' heart in order to be able to bring her back. Jones dies, Jack gets Will off the Dutchman, it goes down, Norrie is able to bring Elizabeth back but he also becomes captain of the Flying Dutchman. And then the rest of the movie progresses. Norrie and Jack (and their crews) destroy Becky and the Endeavor and then Norrie has to leave. Elizabeth then shows and tells Norrington how thankful she is to him and she kisses him (or lets him kiss her ) and she cries a little and all that good heart-wrenching stuff. After sunset and after Norrington leaves Will, Elizabeth, Jack, and Barbossa sail away to get the Fountain of Youth (no leaving Jack behind on Tortuga or anything). So they all get the Fountain of Youth (eventually) and they can live forever… so every ten years Elizabeth (and the rest) will get to see Norrington again.
The End

So that's my latest ending for AWE. It still lets Norrington basically die for Elizabeth and it also has all the sad factors in it (and it's not quite as happy as JF's is but since the writers seemed to want to put something sad in AWE why not put it in this way? Will still gets to be with Elizabeth and Norrington doesn't get quite as pointless of a death)…:) So please don't be hard on me or anything... this was just a thought I had and that I liked.

So I'm not sure which ones are going to be the actual cases and which ones aren't (between the ones on each site)… But I'd bet on the Amazon ones being the right ones.

I'm sure! After all, they both pretty much make the movie! A lot of the loveable ideas where theirs. (Have you ever seen the original concept of Jack? It's... scary!)

Kid's might find it tolerable, but most of the Pirates fanbase are teenagers! It's rated PG-13, after all.


Why would we be hard on you? I love it! I love how Norrie still gets to die for Elizabeth, and yet, he still lives! It's got the nice, tear-jerking touch to it.

They did it on the CotBP DVD too, go look. I think they put Johnny in the middle because a) he's the most famous and b) the eye automatically goes to the center of anything, and if someone who lives under a rock and has never heard of POTC sees that he's in it they might rent it/buy it and get more money for Disney. What's ironic, though, is that for DMC's cover WILL is in the middle... not that I'm complaining!
The names are supposed to be that way too, most famous to least famous or largest to smallest part. Which is weird, because Sao Feng dies pretty early on and Geoffrey Rush is pretty well-known, right?

Will and Elizabeth really are a perfect match, just watch them in the battle scenes. Elizabeth knows exactly what Will is going to do, exactly what his plan is. Will, conversely, knows that he can trust Elizabeth to do what he told her to do (except, of course, when he himself will be put in danger because of it, ie the Kraken attack in DMC). As wonderful a man as Norrington is, he just doesn't have that connection with Elizabeth. I mean, it took the man a few seconds to realize his almost-fiance had fallen off the tower into the water. (no offense, Norrie!)

Yay! Can'twaitcan'twaitcan'twait!!! (Yes, some things I'm rather type-A about...DVD and book covers are one of them. All my friends say I should be a copy editor or something. )

Once again I totally agree. Loyalty is extremely important to a character in my opinion. Without they are near...or usally are villians.
You are one hundred percent right there! Jack is just...the leaving kind of guy. He is not going to stay in one place for very long (except for in fanfiction...). Jack loves the sea more than he loves women (well more than loving women the way that he should...) and that is just the way that it is. So settling down...not very likely at all. Once again I whole heartily agree! Will is near just the exact oppisite of Jack in many ways. Will is not the leaving type. When he makes a commitment he sticks with it (proven by his commitment to Elizabeth and his commitment to Bootstrap). He is a loyal, honest, and selfless man.
True...it is just the wait that I can not stand. lol Oh, well it is not that long until the dvd release.
Thank you for posting the link to that artical earlier. I can not believe that people think that their was not enough lust in Willabeth's relationship though. I thought that their was pleanty when put into consideration that that was not really in Will's perrsonality. Will was more of the romantic type rather than the lustful type. In honesty I think though that that was why alot of people jumped ship for Sparrowbeth. I always saw Willabeth as the romantic couples vs Sparrowbeth the lustful couple. Still yet though there were one or two scenes of lust for Willabeth and in my opinion that was more than enough.
