I don't even know how to join in this conversation... I'll wait 'till someone else posts and start from there.

Sweet! A nice long, important sounding title! :D I'm (or rather, we're) flattered! ;)

On with the absolutely-hyper-madly-fantic posting! :P

Ouch, that would be uncomfortable! But that's neat! I love clothing from the olden days. ;)

Oh, no, it's okay, it was sort of funny. I didn't mind too much. :D True, he'd probably be a really good doctor, actually. He's sympathetic, patient, gentle...etc. Don't get me going! :P
 Yep...he could just pre-print "medication" instructions. :P

Eep! And Elizabeth would be "a woman scorned, with fury like which Hell hath no" then! Erm..."where's my jar of dirt?!" :P

If I may quote a completely different and much less serious movie... "Run away!!! Run away!!!"

lol yeah... I guess that might be an interesting love story to pass through the generations... but shhhhh I haven't told Becky about any of that yet.... probably never will either lol ;)

I don't know if it's odd... I feel the same way about some of the characters. :-D although I would count Norrie in as a big brother or an uncle too (and of course Beckett is my husband ;)) (put into consideration though that that just came from a fellow Pirates fan :P) we're all a big family! *group hug!*

JF, 'Ello there! (waves hello). I am glad to see you around here. I always enjoy reading your opinions on all things related to Pirates of the Caribbean. Feel free to join in our crazy conversations at any time. :)
lol Thanks for the tittle. I am flattered. (bows) :-D lol

FaeEowynTonks, You are welcome. Cool, perhaps I shall have to check out that thread/book sometime. It sounds interresting. Thank you greatly for the information. :)

Taurquende, Yes he really would make a good doctor. (nods) I am glad to "hear" that you agree. :) (high fives Taurquende)

Lady of Taniquetil, Wow...that is way AWEsome! Thanks for sharing that with us. I could so see that. lol  Way to go on suggesting it too! (high fives Lady of Taniquetil).
Why thank you. Will would look....well sound so cute using a large vocabulary. lol :)

PD, You are welcome. Yes, all of us really have taken off with this thread. :-D lol We love to "talk" about our pirates. Sadly though the past two days I have had really gotten behind (Long, long, long shcool days).
Oh you are welcome. No big deal.
Oh that is funny picture. (nods) Yes indeed. Will looks very cute in those pictures. :)
 Yeah, good taste, that is it. (nods) :) Thanks for reassuring me.
Yes, teh countdown continues! 91 days and hours to go (in my country and time zone)

Anie Surion, Yes actualy they are kind of old shcool romantic and I like it. :-D
Ah, that is a great word for it! Different (nods)
Yes, she did seem happy enough on her own. She seemed Very idependant, in my opinion, she was not one bit a afraid to reclaim what was rightfuly hers, was strong willed, and brave. :)
Yes, it was quite convient that she was on Jack's ship. (nods) Quite convienient. (nods) I could certainly see them having a romance and in alot of ways they were alot alike, so it might have worked very well too.
Ditto here. When it is brought to my attention that one of my aunts dislikes Pirates of the Caribbean (or at the very least large parts of them) it makes me like Pirates of the Caribbean all the more. (nods)
That really is a Jack thing to say. I would agree. Sometimes (not always but sometimes) he can be not very compassionate. It jsut depends...but in that situation I could Totally see him saying that.

:) "No school like the old school." (Okay, now if any of you know *that* quote I will be impressed. :teehee:)
Yep, and she wasn't in the least bit intimidated by Jack. I'd love to watch that whole crew interact, I wonder how it worked out. ;)
On second thought, she and Jack are so alike they might kill each other if left alone together long enough... :P
Yep, to each their own but I'm sticking with my Pirates. :D
Personally I think Will would make a much better therapist than Jack, but that's just my opinion. :teehee:
(by the way, Mommy dear, you may want to stop by the family thread because you may have a son-in-law soon. :))

We're using that quote a lot lately. Not that I mind. :teehee:

Well, if you can't get my quote, and I can't get yours, "then we are at an impasse." ;)

No, no, I offended myself. No worries. :D

I know, I'll pull the old Jack Sparrow trick: "Gentlemen, m'lady, this is the day you will always remember as the day that you almost caught [Ánië Súrion]!" And then jump off a pier for dramatic effect.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail...one of the most stupid, and yet most entertaining, movies I've ever seen. :D

Oh! Oops, sorry. ;) Um...no, Uncle Cutler, I didn't say anything about that... :P

 "Indeed."

never doubted you for a minute. ;)

Anie Surion, Hmmm...nope......I do not know where that quote is from. (though I certainly agree with it in reference to Willabeth. :)) Sorry. I love to quote. However I mainly do Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, daytime drama, and sometimes Elizabeth town quotes. I and my family like to play what we call, "the Quote Game" and I use ton of Pirates of the Caribbean quotes (inclueding ones from At World's end). The quote game is where each player takes a turn, you say a quote from any movie, television show, and/or you can even extended it to inclued book quotes as well, and you play until you either bore of the game or run out of quotes. The only rule is that You have to know where Your quote is from. :-D It is a really cool game, you can play it anywhere at allmost anytime, and it is a great way to get your daily dose of Pirate of the Caribbean quotes. :)
She certainly was not. She stood right up to Jack and told him what she thought...especialy about him "borrowing" her ship. (nods)
Ooh, I would love to watch that as well! They are so boarder line (or are...) slightly insane and with Jack as their captain...now that would be Very entertaining! I am sure that they had some very fun experiences being a part of that crew. ;)
Very good point. They very well might be too much alike to be a couple. Sometimes that does happen. It still might be worth giving them a chacne to see if it would work though. (shrugs) :-D
Yes, to each their own. (nods) However personaly I too will stick with my pirates. It just means more for us. :-D
I agree that Will probabley would make the better therapist of the two. Will seems a bit more compassionate and down to earth than Jack. (no offence to Jack fans though)

Taurquende, You are very welcome. :)

PD, Oh I think that I could talk about Pirates non stop for days at a time, too! I nearly do.... lol I drive my family insane. :teehee:
Thanks. (hugs PD back) Yes, it does. When shcool starts back it is just so hard to find free time, and that makes it so hard to talk about Pirates of the Caribbean non stop. (sighs) Oh, well. I will just have to try to Make time. :-D
 Oh, there is no reason to be sorry. Actualy I found it to be funny.

yup! :-D I'm very proud to have Norrie as a "daddy".... who's your "real" "father" again, Taur? (our family is so big and widespread it's hard to remember everything! lol)

That would work... but who would fit under those two? Mr. Gibbs could be our chiropractor and *thinks*.... I'm drawing a blank for who our nutritionist could be.... hmmmm, what about Tia Delma? :P

maybe.... but then it seems like the shoe would be heavier and harder to walk in *clomp, clomp, clomp ;)*.... at least to me it would feel like my foot was slipping around or out all the time. it would seem like it, wouldn't it? :P I guess that's just how it was so no one thought to do anything about it. *shrugs* yeah, it seems like I've heard that too! I like Mrs. March's thoughts about corsets in Little Women (the movie)... can't remember the quote right now but it made perfect sense.

[s]yay[/s] Huzzah! We all have it in our sigs now! *high fives* :-D :teehee:

exactly! T&T are so lucky they knew how far to take the heartbreaking stuff and when to stop.... they made the Willabeth end sad, but not TOOOO sad.... and I couldn't imagine the look on Will's face if Elizabeth had dumped him and gone to Jack. :(

I'm not sure if I drive my family insane or not.... I usually know when to talk and when to stop... (although lately I've been driving my brother insane with the "I've got a jar of dirt" remix Taur so generously shared with us. :P It's so addictive!)

lol great! Yay...(cough...) I mean huzzah for the jar of dirt and it's remix! :bounce:

Well, I am glad that they do. I find some of them quite funny. Thanks for sharing them with us. :)

Hmmm I supose that it would be okay to talk about here? My apologises in advance, to the mods, if it is not.... Personaly my favorite track fromt eh Dead Man's Chest sound track is "Family affair" (track number 8, I believe it is) and the remix of "He's a Pirate" (track number 12). :) I do not have access (or own) the Curse of the Black Pearl soundtrack though...
What are your favorite tracks?

(It's okay, it was from The Incredibles and it was sort of obscure. :D) *high fives* That sounds like fun! I was with a friend most of the day yesterday and we were wandering around quoting The Princess Bride because both of us love that movie. :D
 I love that scene! For once Jack's getting a "shame-on-you". ;)
Yeah, that would be awesome! Let's just make a filler movie about the crew of the Black Pearl! :P
I can see it working and yet not working...if that makes sense. They'd get along fine sometimes and be at each other's throats at other times...something like Jack and Elizabeth, actually. :eyeroll:
 Oh definitely! Will is more selfless than most of the characters, Jack is kind of looking out for #1 at all times.

*crosses fingers on your behalf* ;)

Thanks. :) (I think I mooched it off a fanfic actually, sssh! :P)

My favorite CotBP and DMC tracks...hmm...I think for CotBP my favorites are "One Last Shot" and "He's a Pirate". I can actually picture most of that scene in my head to the music. :teehee: And on DMC, probably "The Kraken", "Two Hornpipes (Tortuga)", and "Wheel of Fortune".

I like Mrs. March's thoughts about corsets in Little Women (the movie)... can't remember the quote right now but it made perfect sense.

exactly! T&T are so lucky they knew how far to take the heartbreaking stuff and when to stop.... they made the Willabeth end sad, but not TOOOO sad.... and I couldn't imagine the look on Will's face if Elizabeth had dumped him and gone to Jack.

Snape and Larael are my "parents." ;) (I know, but it's more fun that way. :P)

Okay, and Norrington could be our... physical therapist? :bounce:

Mm, you're right. Well, they usually had lots of laces in them so maybe they were really roomy in the bottom and really tight at the ankle. (I'm running out of ideas of how to make them bearable. :P)
I've never seen or read Little Women, although I've always wanted to. Just haven't gotten around to it. :)

I know! Or if Will had actually died that way... that would just be awful! :'(

I'm not sure if I drive my family insane or not.... I usually know when to talk and when to stop... (although lately I've been driving my brother insane with the "I've got a jar of dirt" remix Taur so generously shared with us. It's so addictive! )

Oops... well, tell you're brother I'm sorry. :teehee: *runs off singing "I've got a jar of diiiirt, I've got a jar of diiiiirt...."*

Well, I've been thinking about this, guys, and I decided to ask…. What are your favorite tracks on the other two (CotBP and DMC) soundtracks? I know, I know this is an AWE thread but isn't it almost all PotC conversation in general? so I still have to think about it, but what do you guys think?

Hm, maybe "Moonlight Serenade" from CotBP and "Wheel of Fortune" from DMC.
