And I thought I was the only one whose ever seen that movie. :teehee: I like the Incredibles too, though I haven't seen it in ages. :P

Oops... well, tell you're brother I'm sorry. :teehee: *runs off singing "I've got a jar of diiiirt, I've got a jar of diiiiirt...."*

Nooo, but then "Ragetti" isn't the easiest name to shorten either. :P

*high fives* Yay! :D Violet is awesome. (I haven't seen it in a while either, actually...hm...)

 *joins Taur in singing* I showed my dad that video, he thought it was funny. :teehee:

Anie Surion, Oh (:duh: laughs) I really should have known that one. I did see that movie (though it has been about two years now...I need to watch it again). :) Yes, it really is fun, especialy when you get to quote so much for Pirates of teh Caribbean! :bounce:
Yes! I so could not stop laughing when Anna Maria was fussing at him. Then Jack kept trying to talk his way out of it...such a Jack then to do... and Will got him trouble...such a Will thing to do!
Ooh, yes! That would make an awesome movie!
Oh do not worry. I totally understand what you mean. I can see it working and not working at the same time, as well. *nods) Yes, like Sparrowbeth! eek... lol
Yes, Jack is allmost always looking out for himself (the one time that I can really think of when he was not thinking of himself was the scene where the character of Jacl finaly won me over as a fan, when he helped Will to stabb the heart of Davy Jones.) (nods)

lol great! Yay...(cough...) I mean huzzah for the jar of dirt and it's remix! :bounce:
Yes you are quite right. Thank you for the encouragement. Sorry about complaining about it non stop.
Well, I am glad that they do. I find some of them quite funny. Thanks for sharing them with us. :)
Huzzah! 87 days to go! :bounce:
Hmmm I supose that it would be okay to talk about here? My apologises in advance, to the mods, if it is not.... Personaly my favorite track fromt eh Dead Man's Chest sound track is "Family affair" (track number 8, I believe it is) and the remix of "He's a Pirate" (track number 12). :) I do not have access (or own) the Curse of the Black Pearl soundtrack though...
What are your favorite tracks?

well, that might be a slight problem... normally I'll start knowing when people are getting tired of it because they'll start... well, you know. that smile that's so fake and they'll just act annoyed... it's difficult to explain. and I don't really like talking when I know the people are getting bored with me. :P
I know! :bounce: isn't it wonderful!? :P "I got a jar of diirt, I got a jar of diirt, I got a jar of diirt and guess what's inside it!" lol

you're very welcome! :-D oh, don't feel bad *pats on back* we all understand.
nice! :eyeroll: Everyone finds my random thoughts funny... poor PD! ;) thanks for understanding and... thanks (I guess  ) enjoying them... :P and you're welcome. It's always my pleasure to share randomness.

we've talked about everything else PotC related so I'm sure it's ok. :)

Ánië Súrion wrote:

Good point! Poor Lizzie. ;) Pointless, maybe, but so is some of the stuff Jack does.

*crosses fingers on your behalf* ;)

Thanks. :) (I think I mooched it off a fanfic actually, sssh! :P)

My favorite CotBP and DMC tracks...hmm...I think for CotBP my favorites are "One Last Shot" and "He's a Pirate". I can actually picture most of that scene in my head to the music. :teehee: And on DMC, probably "The Kraken", "Two Hornpipes (Tortuga)", and "Wheel of Fortune".

I know! :-D although I'm not sure if most people would want to be known as "Absolutley-hyper-madly-frantic" ;) but it's what makes us special, right? :P

yup... Will/Norrie fans need their pointless fun too.

thanks! ;)

ahhh, you're secret is safe with me ;) actually I've thought of calling him Rag before... but Rags is cuter. :teehee:

Taurquende wrote:
Snape and Larael are my "parents." ;) (I know, but it's more fun that way. :P)

Okay, and Norrington could be our... physical therapist? :bounce:

Mm, you're right. Well, they usually had lots of laces in them so maybe they were really roomy in the bottom and really tight at the ankle. (I'm running out of ideas of how to make them bearable. :P)
I've never seen or read Little Women, although I've always wanted to. Just haven't gotten around to it. :)

I know! Or if Will had actually died that way... that would just be awful! :'(

Oops... well, tell you're brother I'm sorry. :teehee: *runs off singing "I've got a jar of diiiirt, I've got a jar of diiiiirt...."*

Hm, maybe "Moonlight Serenade" from CotBP and "Wheel of Fortune" from DMC.

Ooohhh, ok, thanks... (it is more fun to have a big, happy family like ours! :-D)

that works! :) hmmm, what about Becky and Davy? the only think I can think of is McDonalds hamburger flipper or Wal-Mart grocery bagger. :P And that's not really in the category we're looking for! :teehee: :P

maybe... but I'll still take nowadays shoes over Colonial shoes :P (well, I don't know how you can make them too bearable... I mean they were wooden (I think the bottoms were at least) and leather... and some of them had those big buckles on them *shudders* doesn't sound too fun)

WHAT!? :swoon: I think I just died! You've never seen or read Little Women? Go, go now and do it! It's an amazing movie (if you're into that sort of stuff) and I absolutely adore the book! :-D

If Will had died like that, and died for real.... :explode: I would've died! .... well, maybe not literally.... I mean that would've been THE worst ending EVER to give AWE!!!!

Ah, don't feel bad 'bout it... he'll get over it. :P *starts singing it with Taur :teehee:*

ok, those are all cool tracks you guys like. :-D I've finally decided my favorite tracks.
in the CotBP soundtrack I like:
track 4 - Will and Elizabeth
track 7 - Barbossa is Hungry (I find the title amusing too :P)
track 8 - Blood Ritual (also the marvolous scene where Jack and Will "borrow" the Intercepter from Norrie is there :P)
track 11 - Skull and Crossbones
track 14 - One Last Shot
track 15 - He's a Pirate
and really any of the tracks in the CotBP soundtrack are awesome!

and in DMC I like:
track 2 - The Kraken
track 6 - Tia Delma
track 7 - Two Hornpipes (Tortuga)
track 9 - Wheel of Fortune
track 11 - Hello Beastie (love the final part where it plays the music from when they're all gonna go save Jack)

PD, Yes I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I will start talking about Pirates of the Caribbean and whoever I am talking to will give that fake smile (that you were talking about), nod instead of saying anything, and sigh quite often... Yet, most of the time I just keep going.
Ooh yes! it wonderful...(runs around quoting it) :bounce:

Okay, what (in your opinion) scene do you think was the funniest scene in At World's End?

nope, not at all. :) I'm perfectly amused if they're just dizzy and stumbling around. :P ALTHOUGH some of the Jack scenes are pretty funny.... (I'm shocked I just said that! :P)

that's exactly it! that fake smile, the nod, the sighing.... I've gotten all of that... :eyeroll: people just don't understand, do they? *shakes head ;)*

*sings/quotes with Drew* :bounce: :-D :bounce:

oh no, no, no! I was joking! I don't mind... it's nice that you think my random thoughts are interesting and not just boring... No, you didn't offend me at all... sorry I wasn't clear enough... I was just joking. :) :P

the funniest scene.... hmmmmm I have no idea. Probably a scene between Jack and Barby or Pintel and Ragetti. :-D :teehee: I love "what ARE ya doin'?!" and the spyglass scene... you know that one where Barbossa has the big spyglass and Jack sees it, then shuffles away.... a few scenes later you hear *click, click, click* and Jack's standing there with that gigantic spyglass!
and there must be others I can't recall at the moment..... hmmm, the whole Up is Down scene is AWESOME too! :teehee:

Darn, I'm behind! :swoon: Hm, where to start? :lost:

@ Anie... Aw! I'm naming my next puppy Rags! :teehee: That's adorable!

@ PD... Wow, I've actually I haven't been thinking of Becky as the girl's name. :P But yeah, that that you point that out... it is a little awkward. ;) Well, it's better than Barby (-->Barbie!). ;) :P

@ Drew... Funniest scene? *racks brain* Up is Down, most likely, followed by the wedding. :D

@ Fae... I agree, that's a hilarious scene! Full of some of the most memorable quotes in history. ;) "Now we're being followed by rocks. Never heard that before."

On the general hints to stop talking about PotC... yeah, I don't get those. :P I'm sure they are there, but I'm veeery bad at reading people and I also have this awful habit of chattering on to myself, telling stories and so on even when people aren't listening. :teehee: I've been doing it ever since I was a child. :eyeroll:

Funniest scene, let's see...I absolutely love the wedding scene! It's hilarious for some reason. And also the Multiple Jacks scene, it's just random and weird. And the scene with Jack and Barbossa arguing about who's captain - "What are ya doin'?!" "No, what are you doing?!" :P Oh, and also Up Is Down - Jack acts like such a dork in that scene. :teehee:

At least it's a unique label. :D

Oh, I wasn't denying Jack is amusing - he puts me in stitches a lot of the time. ("I've got a jar of diiiirt! I've got a jar of diiiiirt!") I just appreciate the funny bits with characters I actually like more. :)

I think Becky's kind of a cute nickname, actually... :P I wouldn't use it, but it's certainly original. ;)

well, it didn't dawn on me until a few weeks ago... but, hey, it works, right? lol well, now you probably will start thinking of it as a girl's name ... just like I'll never again be able to watch Will say his "great" line without Tony the Tiger coming to my mind :P aww, it's not too bad... it's my pet name for Becky... PD, Nope. Most people just really do not understand. It just makes me all the more glad though that I have such Pirate loving friends here. :)
(sigh of reliefe) Oh that is good. I was really worried that I might have upset/offend you there. I am really glad that I did not. :) Oh, do not worry about it. I just take things way too literal sometimes. Sorry.
Oh, I Love those scenes too! Jack, Barbossa, Ragetti, Pintel, they can all just be so funny!

Taurquende, Ah, those are two great scenes as well. :-D Oh, I have been guilty of that one before too. Even when my friends offline are not listening to one word of what I am saying, I will just keep going...like the energizer bunny (the bunny that advertises battaries (spelling?)! My mouth never stops going...Especialy when I am talking about Pirates of the Caribbean. lol :)

Anie Surion, Oh yes I had nearly forgotten about the m,ultiple Jack scene that also was a really AWEsome scene. :)

Personaly I think that the funniest scene was the scene where they showed the close up of Jack's nose. I just could not stop laughing. lol :roflmao: It kind of creeped me out at first but as I have said before once I caught on, I just could not stop laughing. After that I would probabley pick the scene where Jack and Barbossa compete with the spyglasses! They really can be one hundred percent funny when they want to be! There really were alot of funny scenes in At World's end though. :)

I remember when my two friends who saw AWE with me the first time turned to me after the movie and said they wanted to go to Davy Jones' Locker if it meant there were 50 Jack Sparrows there. But anyway, I did really like that scene, even if it was odd.

By the way, if any of you feel like reading an uber-long memorial poem thingy for Norrie, I've just posted one - it's called "Hero"...

Wow, I'm back again, I find it dizzying and hard to keep up with you guys, frightening in fact...

How many days until the DVD comes out? I'm far too lazy to run and check my calendar.

We were in London Drugs picking up pictures, and we were diagonal from the electronics section, and my mom pointed out and aksed me what they were playing on the TV's, i told her golf, then she asked again and I moved and they were playing CotBP. So I stood there for 15 minutes watching(Parlay scene in the Governor's house/Liz in the closet and Ragetti and Pintel outside.) Then I had to be dragged away because we had to go home. I was so sad. Anyways, thats my PotC story of the day.

Muahhhhha. Davy doesnt have any nicknames, his name is already four letters.

Me and my friend have started to add an "a" at the end of most of our words, like Davy does, it's pretty awesome.

Talk Like A Pirate Day on the 19th! Everyone participate!

lol yes, we would! But thankfully I would NEVER do that to one of my sons! no offence taken at all! glad you understand... ;) Rags works... and it's shorter (just like Barby, Becky, Norrie, Liz, and I've even thought of shortening Pintel to Pin )

Jack, Barbossa, Ragetti, Pintel, they can all just be so funny!

..............

After that I would probabley pick the scene where Jack and Barbossa compete with the spyglasses! They really can be one hundred percent funny when they want to be! There really were alot of funny scenes in At World's end though. :)

Amen to that! *high fives* in my RL hardly a person REALLY understands why I love PotC like I do... *sigh* it's great to have you guys to talk to and obsess with. :-D you guys actually understand! :)

nah, you didn't offend or upset me. I was just kidding... and like I said I'm happy you guys enjoy my random thoughts :P no need to be sorry. You're ok. *pats Drew on back* :)

I know! Jack and Barbossa together are hilarious! Same with Pintel and Rags!

*high fives* I'm pleased to hear you like that scene too! No matter how hard I try I can never NOT laugh during those "spyglass" scenes. I know! AWE might have a lot of tragedy/drama/action/bittersweetness but it really evens out with all the comedy...

Everyone participate!

hey, Darky! :bye2: awww, sorry to scare you with all our posts.... but we are the Absolutley-hyper-madly-frantic-AU-AWE-posters... "it's [our] nature..." ;)

*checks sig* well, I think it's 83 days... unless I'm off

lol great story! You're lucky... our stores never show PotC... :annoyed2: although when DMC was new their tvs use to play the trailer A LOT! I remember hearing Will say "what exactly is inside the Chest?" over and over ever time I was over by the tvs... :-D (and trust me. I made a point to go over there every time I was in the store just to wait for that trailer... :P)

that's cool.... I might have to try that. :teehee: now we need a Talk Like Davy Jones Day...

I'm gonna have to remember that... Sept. 19th... 6 days away...
