I hated Juiliet with a passion until this episode and now I'm confused....I feel bad for her.

Hello and good morning all my fellow lost fans.

Johnny's fan, I take it you want the down low? Well, I'm not sure that I am the best one to get a recap from (I've never re-capped anything and this is the first Lost episdoe I have actually ever watched) but I'll try my best to fill you in the best I can right now. Okay, Kate had called Jack begging him to operate on Ben (to save her), Jack finally said yes, Jack operated on Ben for awhile, then Julia (I hope that I got her name right... ?) somehow got to telling him about how they were on different islands from Kate and Sawyer, Jack asked how that was possable, he was told that it was true, one thing lead to another and Jack and Julia got into it over saving Ben (Jack no longer wanted to help him and Julia wanted him to save him), so Jack told Julia that she couldn't sew so she could just leave the room, and Julia got mad and left the room but told Tom that no matter what Jack said that Jack wouldn't let a patient die. Else where Juliet was doctering Rachel and tried without succes to get Rachel to move in with her, Rachel said that she liked living on the beach, Juliet told Rachel that everything there was a beach and opened the window onto a very bussy city surrounded by water, Juliet finally left and went to the hospital to get more phials filled with the yellow substance. However Juliet was seen by Ed and his new girl friend (Sherrly) when her cell phone went off while she was hiding inbetween the wall and some kind of a box, Juliet made up some excuss about messing up the lab numbers and then her and Ed parted ways for the time being. Um, Sawyer and Kate beat up alot of the captors, they were nearly caught by more guards that were informed of their escape, and Jack reached Kate by way of walky talky and told her to tell him the story that he told her when she had to operate on him when she was safe. However the were cut off by the sounds of gun shots in the back ground and Jack like totally freaked out, but Alex saved them by ducking them into a trap door on the jungle/forrest floor, the three made their way to the beach but found that there was no boat to help them escape that island, Alex told them that she knew where a boat was, and that she would help them if they helped her free her boyfriend (Carl). So Sawyer asked if Alex's boyfriend's name was Carl adn she said yes, they all went to help Alex help Carl escape, they made the guard think that Alex had captured Sawyer and Kate and told him to let them enter, but the guard tried to contact Ben (and reached Danny), then Kate (I think...) interrupted the conversation between the guard and Danny by telling Sawyer (who had by then grabbed the guard's gun) to shoot him in the knee, Sawyer said "What?!", she took the gun from Sawyer and put the gun to the guard's knee. Okay, so then the guard told them where to find Carl and let them go, they saved Carl (who was in a room being liked hypnotized), and made their way once again to the beach. (deep breathe)
Meanwhile Ben had woke up and asked for Julia, he finally got Jack to leave and let him and Julia talk alone, when Julia came out she told Jack to save Ben, Jack asked her why he should do that, she said because she was going to go and help Sawyer and Kate escape, she took off, Jack went back to work, Jack messed up the surgery a bit but seemed to get the bleeding under control, Kate called Jack and started asking him if he was okay and giving him the up date and blah blah (lol), oh and Jack made Tom hold the walky talky up to him while he continued the surgery. Allrighty, so then miss Julia shows up and says that they can go all except Alex because she said that that was the only way that Carl could leave, Alex had a teary eyed good bye with a still kind of out of it Carl, Jack and Kate talked by walky talky, Kate told Jack some story about how he saved this girl and how he had to count to five not to be scared when he messed up durring her surgery, Jack tells Kate to never come back for him, and all but Alex leaft the island in Alex's boat. Um, Jack gets Ben stable and leaves him to rest, Jack talks asks Julia when she return's what Ben said to her, Julia says that Ben said that after her 3 years 2 month 28 day stay on the island that he would let her go home if she let him live, and then Julia walks off.
Juliet meets with a Dr. Albert and they talk about her doing work for him at his hopsital where she will have funds and freedom do what she needs to do, she asks him why he wants to hire her, he says because she is that good, she says that her ex husband would never allow it, he asks her if she wants him to speak to him for her, she says no that wouldn't work and makes a comment about how if he got hit by a bus that that would work, she gets all upset and leaves. Um, not long after that Rachel tells her that she's preagnat and says that all she's got to do now is get healthy. Later Ed is talking to Juliet outside and he... gets hit by a bus and dies, Juliet gets all upset, she's working on the paper work for her ex husband's death when Dr. Albert walks in and says that he came to offer her his "condolances", they get to talking, she says that she had said that she wished that he would get hit by a bus, Dr. Albert says that it was just a tradgic accident and not her fault and that he didn't even remember her saying that, Dr. Albert asks her again about joining his hospital and introduces somebody called Ethan...and that's pretty well that.
(sigh). Okay there's that. Did it make any sense?
Um, if I messed anything up or leaft anything improtant out anybody is welcome to correct me. As I said this is my first time viewing this show and also my first time giving a re-cap to anything so it is possable that I could have messed something up. If I did I'm Really sorry and I hope that you can forgive me...I tried. I hope that I helped at least a little bit.

Um, allright I have a question of my own, I understood most of everything except for the parts with Rachel...could somebody please give me the main things that I need to know about her? Mainly like why she wants a baby soooo badly? I'm a little on that.

no i don't think so. he spent the whole episode lying on the operation table. correct me if im wrong but i think the only time he really talked is when he talked that little bit to jack and then talked to juliet. and all he said was if she helped jack and everyone then he would let her leave. ( i guess we are supposed to asume shes been held captive all this time)

hey I was kinda confused..The girl who helped Sawyer and Kate get the boat the blacked hair lady (didn't catch her name) who was her father again? Juliet is her mom but I didn't catch who she said was her father..did she say ben?

And when Jack was asked to leave, that one guy (I think he said his name was Tom) He said that they had a history...so does that mean that they were together?

But I don't get why Ben told Juliet if she helps Kate and Sawyer get off the island then she can finally go gome..does that mean that Ben is a nice guy?

ALRIGHTY....I've finally watched the episode (:D OMG YAY!) so here's what I have to say.

To answer JF question - yes, this episode was a "Juliet episode", with flashbacks of her from before she came to the island. The Rachel that DD was talking about was Juliet's sister. And Ed was her ex-husband. I think if you want, they have summaries of the episodes on Lost Media

What manwathiel said was correct, the only things Ben said were the little bit to Jack and a conversation with Juliet, that we DIDN'T get to hear

LOTRfreak and JF - the girl who helped Kate and Sawyer was named Alex. Apparently she is Ben's daughter (!!), but I think her mother is that crazy French lady, from seasons 1 and 2, NOT Juliet Because in season 2, Russou (I think that was the French lady's name) said something about looking for Alex and how they captured her daughter (it was during a Claire episode where she started remembering what happened when she was captured and delivered her baby). Russou might have been lying though, or I might have misinterpereted it So, yes, I think you're right JF So does that mean Russou (or whatever her name is ) and Ben were...together?

As for what Tom said about Juliet and Ben having a history...I was wondering the same thing. It was a bit unclear if he meant a romantic history or just that they had 'problems' in the past...

I hope that cleared things up a bit. That was just my intake on the show (or at least some of it ).

Anyway, I thought it was great, and I think I'm going to have to watch it again, so that I can intake it all again

And Russou is Alex's mother...and...obviously, as Gil said, Ben is her father. .... Bizarre... Ha ha ha!

Well, Michael and Walt got to leave...so, it's highly probable that he'd let Juliet go. Which, would make sense if they had a "history" together. Assuming, of course, that they're "history" was good/romantic/whatever. Ha ha ha.
Ben, a nice guy? Well...I'm not sure I'd use nice. GAH! I just want to see more of the season....so I can get some sort of a grasp on these characters!

So confusing! Maybe Ben isn't really Alex's father but he wants everyone to think that....

And, omg, did anyone else think that the room they were keeping Carl in was SUPER creepy??? *shivers* For those of you who didn't see it yet *cough*JF*cough* (lol ), they were keeping him in this room with really loud, weird music, with this huge screen with random images flashing across it and some words too...things like "Humans are the source of all pain." or something! And Carl was strapped to this chair, with these flashy googles on his eyes and when they pried him off, it seemed like he was dead, but his eyes were open, and then he woke up later...It was really creepy!

Hmmm......I've just read the summary on Lost Media...and I think my little panic is over....

I don't think he's her biological father..I mean I know it's LOST but even that is a bit far fetched.......maybe he "adopted" her, which would explain why he asked about her before he went for his operation and why he's imprisoned her boyfriend.....it may also just be a figure of speech, as maybe the young people see Ben as a father figure....Personally I believe the whole "father" thing is just another red herring - it's been mentioned in such a casual way, it can't be true.

I think the past Juliet and Ben have may or may not be romantic, it could simply be she was brought to the island (to be given free way for her experiments) and he's kept her there, so she's not very happy with him.

I would agree with that. From what Danielle said, at any rate... and since she was a baby when she was taken, Alex wouldn't have known better.
