You know that the mutant gene comes from the father? Well Nightcrawler is Mystique's son and he's a mutant just like his mother so did he beocme a mutant because of his mother or it was just a councidence? He's probably blue because of his mother though

I think the X-gene coming from the Paternal parent is a movie thing. To make it more reality based. I don't ever remember it being brought up in the books. Although I am old, so I may have forgot.
Nightcrawler's father was a Demon as far as I remember from a recent Mystique limited series. Name escpaes me though. But yeah he gets his blueness and his eyes from his mother.
There is a rumour going around that Nightcrawlers father was going to be Mystique and his mother was Destiny. But it was scrapped.

lol me too. It just wouldn't make any sense.
Unless they said not only could she morph her outer self but her inner self as well.
Too confusing. lol
I like the demon father better, nice irony considering how devoutly religious Kurt is.

It's nice when there's people doing it too. Although too many at the same time can make it confusing.
Galas' I don't think anyone did claim Bobby. I think people just used him as they needed him. Maybe check the main page to see if he was, but I'm sure he's a floating character, like Cyclops and Xavier.
