Hmmm...a Kate/Ben video JF?  That must be....different 
As for Juliet, like I've said before, I like her, but I'm not really sure what she's all about. However, she did make me angry in the first episode of the 'spring season' (the one that aired 2 weeks ago). She seemed to flip back and forth between what she wanted too easily  . However, I felt bad for her in her flashbacks... _________________

From what I've heard of her flashbacks it doesn't seem to be particularly worthy of my sympathy, but I'll hold judgement until I've seen it._________________

I just watched the Feb. 7th episode (Not in Portland) and began last Wednesday's episode. Now I've been watching Lost for a while, and I'm really not sure why. XD It's a really good show, and it's done really well, but there's just something about it that doesn't do it for me. Juliet's flashbacks kind of annoyed me. I mean...she's a relatively new character, right? And however interesting her whole backstory is...her ex-husband gets hit by a bus? I LAUGHED. It's just so weird how they expect us to really care about her past.
However, I'm going to keep watching because I want to find out how this show ends.
* Btw, do NOT GET ME WRONG! I just reread this post and it seems as if I don't like the show, and I DO!! I don't want a whole bunch of people coming on and saying "why are you posting on this thread if you don't like it?", etc. That's not what I mean. xD It's just...it's such a good show, but you have to admit, it does get a little frustrating, the whole not-having-answers thing. I was really expecting them to answer some stuff in those episodes, especially since I've heard a lot of people talking about how good they are, but all I came up with was more questions.

Well....new characters means fresh stories are being brought to the show and I think having flashbacks is just another way to get the show off the island. If were lucky some questions may be answered (we know no pretty much why Juliet is on the island) but we also need to ask this question - was it mere coincidence that after mentioning about her husband being hit by a bus, he actually is? Or is there something else there?
Yes, it is a frustrating show - but if all the questions were answered at once it wouldn't be LOST really. It makes a change not to have all the answers handed to you on a plate - you have to think, work things out, try theorizing.

JF, Yes, that's exactly what I mean! I dislike Ben but I like Me. After all as you said he is an emmy winning actor and from what I've seen well deserving of it.
Oh, yes. Poor Sawyer having to carry on when there seemed to be no hope and being strong for Kate's sake...what a man. Allright I will say it before you continue reading...I am patheticly Sawyer crazy and I am proud of it. 
Um, I took you advice and got caught back up on Lost by reading up on Lost Media. However it did take me Several hours to finish reading all the recaps for the ones that I missed. What I found was that this show truely does rock and that I think that I can support Kate and Sawyer. Mainly because I beleive without a shadow of a doubt that Sawyer truely loves her with all of his heart and anything that holds hope of bringing Sawyer happiness I can support. The thing is that I am still a bit warry to uh...put all of my eggs in one basket, you know what I mean? I really don't think that I can condone Kate for running back and forth between Saywer and Jack and perhaps in the process slowly breaking Sawyer's heart peice by peice forever. Though despite that I am begining to like them more and more with every paragraph that I have read on them and every scene I have seen. So yeah I support them too.
Personaly I think that the other Dr. had Ethan purposly hit and kill Ed with the bus. However that is just my opinion. What do you think?
Kate and Ben? (Thinks for a moment) I don't think that I like them together. Even if they do seem to deserve one another. Sorry couldn't help myself... I love to do shipper couples. They are fun and unexpected. So in honesty I have thought of a few myslef. Such as Sawyer and Claire because I think that a "good girl type" might be good for him because she might be able to help him straighten up and fly right. Of course though I kind of like Charlie and Claire so that's a no go for on in my opinion. On the other hand I've thought of Juliet and Sawyer but I'm not sure how that would work... So I've deiced just to stick with Skate for now. See how it turns out and cross my fingers that Kate will be on best behavior. So I can stop biting my nails over whether or not she's going to hurt poor Sawyer.
Hmm, as for Ben with somebody perhaps...Juliet? I mean yes that doesn't make any sense but that sometimes happens with shipping. I really don't know. Maybe Ben should just stay singel and have some fun being "bad".
As for Kate...I think that she has enough guys falling for her. I mean Jack and Sawyer...who could ask for more? (Well, Charlie's cool but as I said I want him to be with Claire.) Now there are some wanting to see Ben with Kate...well she seems to have it made.  There's no need for me to go looking for somebody else for her. Looks like she can just take her pick...personaly I want her to choose Sawyer...maybe the writters should even make her chase him a bit since she seemingly is doing the same to Sawyer, eh? Okay, I know I've lost my mind...sorry.

Elvawen, I'm glad that you will be sticking with Lost. More viewers is allways a good thing. Oh, and don't worry. I'm not going to get you for what you said. I understand that it can be frustraiting not having all the answers but I look at that as half the fun. So I plan on sticking around too and seeing what happens.
Allright just one more back story question that has nothing to do with opinions and then I'll try my very best to lay off of them for awhile...I promise that I will at least try. I read bout Kate and Tom...how were Kate and Tom or Tom and Kate's mom connected? I read the recap on the episode with them in it but I got confussed. Lol, sorry. I'm probably just a fast reader and I got it wrong how long it would take to read all the summaries - I'm annoyed they haven't got the last episode up yet, as I need to read it.
Hmm....you have to really watch LOST to understand some of the things that passed between Kate and Sawyer....I mean he was a little but unkind towards her and just about everybody to begin with - as was mentioned in an episode, he was almost trying to make people dislike him. I think Kate was attracted to Jack for the reasons that she couldn't find in Sawyer - he helped other people, had a string sense of leadership and was someone people could turn too. But on the other hand Sawyer was like Kate, they seemed to match. Both on the run almost from life, whereas Jack had a steady job etc. So I think once Sawyer became less unfriendly, and they got to know each other, that's when things started happening. Obviously, Kate still likes Jack, but I don't think in the same way anymore, but she still looks to him for guidance.
Well I haven't seen the episode...but I'm thinking Juliet's ex dying like that, was the work of someone who wanted to give her the chnace to experiment on that island.
I don't seen Kate and Ben together either, nor would I want to. I was just mentioning who other people ship. I don't see Ben being with anyone - and I am adamant that he wasn't with Juliet at one point. I quite like the Desmond/Claire pairing, but I believe Desmond and Penny really go together well. There is also a Jack/Juliet ship, but I don't like that at all.
Who is Tom? Her childhood sweetheart and the one who was killed when she was trying to escape? Sorry it's been like...2 years?_________________

Locke and Claire....now that would be interesting. For some reason that brought about thoughts of rubbing Locke's bald head for good luck LOL.
I know what Ben/Kate video you're talking about...at least I think I do. Did it go with the song Yesterday by the Beatles? That video was done amazingly well.

I'm not sure Des and Claire should happen... because remember, at the end of season 2, it looked rather much like Penny was still searching for her Des... or, at least, looking for the island, thereby looking for Des.
Although they do make a cute couple... but not as cute as Charlie and Claire. PEANUT BUTTER LUV!!!  _________________
