Maybe she just wanted to be a pirate or have a pirates life, so she wanted Jacks life, maybe not Jack himself.

Y'know, you guys have some very interesting points, and not all of them are questions that I feel I have complete authority to answer...If any of you wish to ask someone who knows everything for certain, I suggest you go and join Keep To The Code. Once you've joined, pm Ted Elliot. He's already answered several questions for us, and I'm sure he wouldn't mind answering any questions you have about why he wrote something a certain way.

*yawns* very understandable Riniel that you didnt like it. My friends thought that it was too dark and there wasnt enough humour and that all the characters acted in ways that they wouldnt of in CotBP. Your opinions are fine and perhaps they may bet true to you but i thought they did an amazng job showing the progression of the characters, emotion wise and with the way they interact with others.

Thank you for clearing that up! I was a tad bit confused as to how Lord Beckett fit into the scheme of things, and why Davy Jone's was after Jack in the first place. Okay, now this makes sense. So, Will and Elizabeth are now caught up Jack's problems?
Ya know, I don't think Jack is actually dead. He probably found a way to escape like he all ways does. I think he's going to die in the AWE though.

as some people have already pointed out, I wondered as well where all the minor characters in the first movie went. Ana Maria and the two British soldiers were pretty funny.
I rather liked the cliff hanger. leaves off some room for contemplation and what if's

^^agreed! I liekd AnaMaria, and the two British soliders were hillarious.
I was so glad they brought back Pintel and Ragetti, though.

Pintel and Ragetti are crucial to the movie(not really) but they're good comic relief.

Haha, Pintel and Ragetti were a must for this movie, and I'm glad they brought them back. I was disappointed about some of the other minor characters not coming back, but I guess they didn't do anything of the plot line.

yeah they should have brought back AnaMaria, they brought back Gibbs and Cotton so why not bring back AnaMaria, and the two English soliders, they were almost like mirror images of Pintel and Ragetti only not pirates...

Loved it ecspecially the ending when Barbossa returns
and Jack& Johny`s fan, sure they were more sinister, but I think Barbossa is far more entertaining with his comments and acting

Quote: Loved it ecspecially the ending and I actually kinda guessed that the captain was Barbossa cause in the middle of the movie Jack see`s Barbossas medallion on the table as he visits Tia Dalma in potc: http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6728 ... 268qc5.png and in potc 2: http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/2254 ... 139os3.png
Actually, Sharku, those are two different medallions. The first one is just a necklace Barbossa wears as an accessory. The second belongs to Tia Dalma and had far more significant meaning in the future...
But we do get to see his hat and his boots in her shack the first time they visit.

Aye, they're similar, but not identical. If anything, Tia Dalma's necklace looks like the design on Davy Jones' music box...

Yay! I'm going to go see DMC again today. I think I'm going to take a notepad along so I can write down some quotes that haven't all ready been said in the quote thread. We're in need to some new ones in there.
By the way, I'm going to pay pretty close attention to that locket and music box. There's something fishy about them.
