Maybe after the writer's strike, the show got new writers who are in love with angst. And the plot twists they throw in aren't executed/thought out very well. Like Zack, it was like, wha? *beep*? Where did that come from? Some people said they could see it coming, but I was blindsided.
Now Hodgins and Angela... it's just weird. In the space of a couple of minutes, they're breaking up because they don't "trust" each other. It's like the writers wanted to break them up and used the first lame scenario they thought of. And it happened too fast to be realistic.
Booth and Bones are of course, the stars of the show... but the squints are equally important in my eyes. I love them all. On that note, poor Clark. He was so uncomfortable and awkward around the drama that was swirling 'round the Jeffersonian. But who will be Brennan's new assistant forensic anthropologist student/buddy/helper thing? Zack's locked up in the psych ward, and Clark quit.
Hmmmmm. Next week's episode looks,um, interesting. And I'm loving Sweets more and more with each episode. He cracks me up.

Oh, Clark. I was so sad. I loved him, he was so funny. I'm sad that he left. Hopefully Bones will get him back.
And I agree with you about Sweets. Sweets used to annoy me every single episode he was in, but he's definitely growing on me. He's had some of the greatest moments.

Bones is on again tonight... and is looking to be an interesting, if gross, episode.

~~SPOILERS~~
Don't worry, I'm sure Angela and Hodgins will get back together. I mean, they're Hodgins and Angela. They have to get back together! Ugh these writers!
And I've read that finally, after three excruciating seasons of obvious mutual attraction, Bones and Booth are finally going to get it on. But I agree with Tar-Dis, I have no idea how that's going to work...AH I hate these writers! What is with them?

Ok, Hart Hanson said B&B would end up naked in bed together... but I bet it's not what we think (or want!)
Oh, tonight's episode:
I feel bad for Bones, but what was she thinking dating two guys at once, and forgetting who she had set up a date with? Come on. If you're too busy to forget who you're doing what with, you shouldn't be dating.
Brennan's intern was annoying. All the glances Cam and Hodgins kept sharing about her were funny. And Sweets and his comments on the poop were hilarious. And then him sneezing inside the hazmat suit was icing on the cake. poor Sweets.

You're probably right. They're dreadfully cruel that way...
Ugh her intern was horrible! There was no way she was going to be able to survive.

Haha, the intern Daisy was super annoying. But Brennan owning her was so funny.
"You're like my hero."
"Hero worship shows a lack of individual intellect."
But hey, the Sweets/Diasy attraction was super cute. Seriously, I did a little "awww" when he started stuttering in front of her.
Honestly, I loved this episode likesomuch. It was too awesome for adjectives.
"You know he's gay, right?"
"What? He is not!"
"Double cheek kiss, tight suit."
"Coldplay?"
"Never been married, no kids."
"Coldplay?"

LOL the intern was like, "Dr. Brennan and I are so alike, blah blah blah..." and "It's like I've been here forever, right!?" And Cam and/or Hodgins is looking like, shoot me now...
Sweets fell for the brainless smart girl. Bahaha.

I enjoyed last night's episode much more than the premiere.
Sweets became my favorite character shortly after his introduction, and I love that he's getting more screen time now.
Hodgins and Angela. Bah. That was just... not well done at all. At least they didn't spend this entire episode angsting over it like I expected them to.
I wanted to punch Daisy in the face from the time she opened her mouth. *Shudders*

^Agreed. Any episode in which Angela and Hodgins break up is a sucky episode.

Nice episode... only one angsty-sad Angela/Hodgins moment.
I was so sad that Brennan wanted to adopt the dog, and she made plans for him and got him a tag, and then Booth told her that the dog was put down
The dog whisperer guy being on there was kinda funny.
And I liked Brennan's temporary intern guy. His clashing with Hodgins was amusing.
On that note, poor Hodgins. He's such a mess right now, hopefully he'll get straightened out soon.

It was a super epic Angela/Hodgins angst!moment, though. Poor Hodgins.
I happen to love the Dog Whisperer, just because he makes me smile, so him being in the episode was sweet.
Speaking of sweet, I love Sweets more and more every single episode. I just want to hug him, seriously. The Hodgins/Sweets session was too amazing.
"I hate everyone."
"It's your coping mechanism."
"My coping mechanism of...hate."

Hurrah for Bones!
(Yikes, I haven't been on here in a while... ...although I blame that on the fact that because of work, can't watch Bones when it airs! *legasp*)
Anyway, I think it's shaping up to be a great season. The whole Angela/Hodgins thing is so damn depressing. BAH. It needs to have not happened, and they should just go back to making out in Angela's office in front of Cam. But I guess it'll be interesting to see how it's all played out. And I was very depressed with the fact that the British version of Bones was killed. WHYYYY???
Anyway, Sweets gets better and better every episode. I mean, he's always been awesome but I'm loving the more screen time they're giving him. This past episode, with his whole interaction with Booth and Parker and THEN Hodgins. BRILLIANT. Plain and simple brilliance.
Annoying girl intern, I'm glad she's gone. But I'm really sad that the newest intern isn’t there. I LOVED him. He was amazing. ESPECIALLY his interaction with Hodgins. And he was just plain funny. *sigh* Poor Hodgins, man. His little session with Sweets was amazing. Mwa ha ha ha ha!
Now, can I just say I hate the writers for making Brennan NOT be happy? WHYYYY couldn’t they have just let her have the dog? HMMMM??? WHYYY couldn’t they have had Booth be the awesome guy that he is, and like rescue the dog from being put down? BAH. Absolute crap I say. I mean I knew in the back of my head that the dog would be put down, but I was HOPING for that not to happen. And then Brennan was all so happy…GRRRRRRRR.
Anyway…while I don’t know a whole lot about the Dog Whisperer, I thought he was a sweet addition to the show. He was pretty cool.
HURRAH for Bones!

Well, I agree with all above sentiments.
And I've kind of been having this very odd way of watching Bones, because I wasn't so dedicated in previous seasons, and I missed a lot of episodes (like, I missed all the episodes with Sully. How did that happen?), so I've been watching TNT play the Bones season back from the beginning, so I've been watching both the current season WHILE catching up on old seasons...it's weird.

That last one was really good. Some many banner-worthy moments.
Does anyone remember what Sweets said to make Hodgins reply with
"I would rather drive a motorcycle full speed into a bridge abutment"?
