Sounds like an arobix song! Only if you pay close attention, you can hear the pirate part! And at the beginning:
it's starts with someone breathing hard, then you hear Jack say: "were did you get that?" then you heard swords and Norington saying: "on your feet" then the arobix starts! lol!

I actually have never been a big Jack fan, more of a Will fan, but Jack's music is cool. Actually, all the music is awesome!

When the first movie came out I was absolutely stunned by the music. It was that good, but then I heard the music for DMC, and it completely blew away the score from CotBP. 'twas different and I love it!

I too love the music. If you listen to Hans Zimmer's earlier scores and even Gladiator the music is similar but all composers tend to do that. Most critics found the music un-piratey but what do they know?

the critics are the ones to make bad coments! I say it's piratey... thoe you came make music that is exactly anything... like you can't make music that exactly horsey, but close! I say the song: Jack Sparrow on the DMC soundtrack sounds like his theme song just because the wacky way it is!

Elenanna - you LIPREAD it? Wow, I am really impressed! That must have been so hard - especially a lot of the action sequences when you don't see the character's faces as much... (or do you? I don't pay attention to things like that :p)

I think that one is amusing - my brother has the Gladiator soundtrack and we all spend half the time listening to it saying "pirates!" (or alternatively, it sounds like music from the planets, but that's really going off-topic).

Erm, alright, back to the film... (not that there's anything wrong with discussing the soundtrack, I'm just trying to stop myself going off on tangents here!) I thought Will was much better in this film than the first one...

Will did good in the second! I watched a thing online were Orlando said that he wanted a more pirates looks, with boots and such, and not the black shoes and tites(sp?).

I liked the beginning, were Jack comes out of the coffin thing, and rows with the dead arm!

And then how he stuck his arm out with the gun and moved it around as if it could see... that was funny! I jumped out of my skin when he shot the bird!

Pretty much...but I understood what was going on.. I can hear a little bit (I'm hard of hearing-partially deaf) but some of the dialouge I couldn''t understand, but when the movie comes out on DVD I can watch it with captionis...but for now...gotta rely on my lipreading abilities.
Back to the point..Jack the monkey was one of my favorites...

Yup - it's an UNDEAD MONKEY! I love just calling him that! He was amusing, for the amount he was in it. I think Jack (the pirate) rather enjoys shooting him because he never dies!
