Isn't it interesting that PotC became so much more dramatic than comic in DMC, and seems to be heading even more that way in AWE?

Hmmm... usually I'm all for a bittersweet happy endings, because I defininately agree that they're so much more impactful. But in PotC's case, I'm kind of hoping for a happy ending.

I'm hoping for Will and Elizabeth safely married and safely back in love, and Jack happily back with his ship and his compass. It likely won't happen, but you know, a girl can hope! And as long as Will and Elizabeth are married, what happens to Jack is a bit secondary in my mind.

other way around for me, irt would be great if W&E got back together but in my mind Jack's fate is more important.

My goodness, WHY? Elizabeth slid WAY down on my list after DMC, the only reason I'm worried about her and Will staying together is cause I want Will to be happy I'm aware that I'm part of a rather small (overall) clique of fans who are more interested in Will's fate than Jack's, tho _________________

Well...I like Elizabeth's character, I just don't think she acted according to it in DMC. So I'm sort of curious to see what they'll dow tih her in the next movie, but...I don't take what they say as truth.
I've realized the writers are just a bunch of people like us sitting in a room deciding what they think should happen to our characters. In my mind, the characters off doing whatever I feel they should do. Sequels are other people's opinions of what happened to characters after the main story. I stopped taking them as truth.
Because...it's all a story anyway So even if they kill someone off, we can mourn and cry...but it's not real. So in our own little minds they can be alive.  _________________ <center> all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us
