Meh...I personally don't mind a bit of tension, as long as it doesn't do too much permanent damage. This is actually a very important stage for them to go through as a couple, and better to do it before the marriage than after. Up until now, their relationship has been very sweet, but it's essentially puppy love. Yes, they've gone through some trials together, but they've always only loved one another and never even considered marrying someone else (note- I'm not saying that either should marry someone else). Now, they're starting to wonder (Elizabeth especially) if that's really the right thing to do. All of the "What ifs" start to pop up, and naturally they begin to question their relationship. And while it may strain it for a while, eventually I think it'll serve to strengthen it. They go from "I love you, you love me. Let's get married!" to "I love you. I would die for you. I would even give you to another if it made you happy. I've seen my options, and I choose you." As my very wise friend put it:
"How do you make a man stronger? Make him lift more weight."

me 2. i just hope things get worked out and will gives elizabeth the chance to explain. im not saying that he should forgive her right away (though we know what really happened and we could) but i do hope thing gets resolved.

o yeah BTW if no one has herd yet. i went online the other day to see when DMC was going to be on DVD and the date thats being given right now (and this is on the acually site) is dec. 5 ( well in the US)

Meldawen, Yes, I think that it will be very interresting to see Will and Barbossa interact with each other. / I read that Will will relize that he needs Barbossa's help to save Elizabeth and that Barbossa will relize that he needs Will's help to get his ship back. So for those reasons they will atleast partcialy deal with each other. I think that it might have been Orlando who said that but it might have been somebody else. I don't remeber who it was that said that. Sorry/ However I do think that they will argue some, especialy over Will's dad. I think that this is going to be very fun to watch. I can't wait!

Well, personaly I'm not sure that I want Will and Elizabeth to stay together. I understand why Elizabeth kissed Jack but it still upsets me non the less. Plus she is (though not so much in her actions...yet) becoming wishy washy about her men.
Okay, just putting it out there...what would you think of a Tia Dalma and Will Turner pairing? It didn't take me long to jump to the idea of them as a romantic couple. I mean she did seem a bit in his face (not in a bad way) and talked...um...oddly ...to him.
The more Elizabeth gets on my nerves the more I like the idea of a Wila (Tia and Will) pairng. Maybe in AWE I'll like Elizabeth better (which it would probabley help if she would explain why she kissed Jack and say that she was sorry that she had to kiss Jack, to Will's face). I'll keep an open mind. However I'm not making any promises.

DD, I think you'll like Liz a lot better in AWE. Maybe not at first, but as things start to play out. A lot of things from DMC get explained in this movie, and I think people will actually like DMC itself a lot better after AWE clears everything up.
As for Wila...eh. Not my favorite pairing. There's so much about Tia that makes her wrong for Will (though most of it'll come out in AWE, so I can understand why that ship exists). There's more material in there for a Jack/Tia relationship than there is a Will/Tia relationship, and J/T doesn't have much basis either (aside from a one-night-stand kind of deal). Bottom line, Tia's a flirt. If there's a male in her presence, she will flirt with him, and probably succeed to some degree.

Will and Tia Dalma? Ummm.... NO. I would boycott PotC. I find Tia Dalma to be freaky and disturbing. Elizabeth's a jerk, but at least not a freak. Will and Elizabeth HAVE to end up together. They just have to.

^I can't wait for AWE because I really want a lot explained! I think that will help me like DMC better too, as you said... right now the main reason I like DMC is just because it's a PotC movie.

I still don't like the whole J/E mess though. Will and Elizabeth already put their lives on the line for each other many times in CotBP. I don't see why Elizabeth has to 'try out' other men before she realizes Will is right for her. I sort of liked their pure, unconditional love.

Jack and Tia...funny, but hey, Jack wouldn't stay with anyone long. That's why he's best by himself instead of in a couple.
