You should really get to see it, all three originals if you get a chance. It's the final chapter in the Saga, where after years of war and rebellion, the Empire and the Sith are finally defeated and the Republic is restored. The clip you've probably seen is a scene that was edited for the DVD release of Star Wars. Originally, the actor who played Vader stood next to Yoda and Obi-Wan, (*something* Shaw?), and they replaced him with H. Christiansen for the DVD. It's a scene where Luke sees all three former Jedi, now deceased, as visual manifestations of the Force, i think? It's just a for a few seconds before the movie ends. Hope I didn't spoil too much!

Exactly! I saw the special edition, and I was so happy to see Hayden in his "Force" form as Anakin. It was cool.

I know a lot of old school Star Wars fans that weren't happy about Sebastian Shaw being replaced by Hayden. But it made total sense to me...Anakin 'died' when he was a young man, before he was burnt to a crisp. So it makes sense that his force residue is the younger Anakin.

I'd be one of those old school fans. I didn't like the fact that they put Hayden in there. He may have turned and "died" (metaphorically) when he was young, but he redeemed himself before dying on the Death Star. So he should've been old, as he was pictured in the originals.
Though, I'm not a fan in general of the special edition movies, some of the things they added just didn't make sense.

I'm also an old school fan, dating back 20+years. I can see why they put Hayden in there, but I can see why you and others don't like Hayden being there. It all just boils down to opinions.
I don't mind the special editions, there are some odd things in there and there are some good things. Then you have Han not shooting first

I have seen shirts that say "Han shoots first" Some scenes were good, but one scene that gets me every time: A New Hope, with Han talking to Jabba. Though I love more screen time for Han and Boba Fett, it makes no sense at all. The next scene Han is telling Luke and Obi-Wan about how he's rushed. It just doesn't flow.

LOL I want one of those t-shirts.
Ack, you know I never thought of the Han/Jabba scene like that. But I guess it was just to show off with there CGI.
'Hey look, we can replace a chunky guy with a big CGI Jabba. Aren't we awesome'

First of all i have to say that in the prequels hayden as anakin is great!i think christensen is the man for this role!
well my dear shadowcat, i agree with phoenix about anakin metaphorically"dying"in a young age by forsaking the Jedi to join the dark side and i think that by putting him(as young) in the new version of ROTJ Lucas was right.I know he redeemed himself as an old man(he was about 40 when he really died in Luke's arms according to the star wars' sites) but the good inside him was never lost and maybe Luke should remember him as the good young man he used to be,Obi-Wan's friend and a great Jedi before he becomes Darth Vader.I really hope i make sense here...i try to express my thoughts the best way i can...(besides he was really injured when he was burnt in ROTS so we better remember him as a young man...lol )
