well its really more of a documentry with a plot to help explain things. but it's sort of a fusion of spirituality and science and how the two don't necessarily have to contradict eachother. It covers a lot of different topics, but to put it broadly, it's about the wacky world of quantum physics and how it relates to our lives.

I like to think of it as an explanation for a lot of unexplanable things. For example, we've all had that gut feeling telling us that something isn't right, but where does it come from? Some people would say God (which by the way is another topic in the movie), but what about people who don't believe that the traditional God exists? And where did everything come from in the first place? why does anything exist at all? Again, religious people may say God created it all, but where did God come from? And if you'd rather believe that the big bang was the start of everything, where did all that matter from the big bang form? Of course, these are imponderables and the movie doesnt come out and say "THIS IS THE ANSWER!" but it suggests a lot of explanations that i've never even imagined could exist (probably because i never got into quantum theory lol).

This movie is a pure gem. After watching it I view the world in a completely different way than i did before. I don't agree with everything they suggest, but it certainly backs up a lot of things that i've always believed, but never really had answers to.

i have the quantum version (up to 5 1/2 hours long), if by chance anyone happens to live in idaho, US and feels like getting philosophical i'd be more than happy to host a movie night. =D
